If you did not receive a refund from Signet-Financial and you were entitled to one, I urge you to contact the California Attorney General's office and the Attorney General's office in which you purchased your vehicle. I was notified that Signet was not backed by Insurers so the AG's office be in touch with Signet for a response. Everyone affected, and there are a lot of us out there, really needs to contact the proper agencies to file their complaints and let their voices be heard. http://ag.ca.gov/contact/complaint_form.php?cmplt=CL |

It seems that I am one of MANY that have been scammed by Signet Financial Group. I purchased a travel trailer in 2007 and after the salesman did his little song and dance I was convinced to buy the extended service contract. Now 4 years later it seems that I am out $1500. I sent a letter to Signet as required. I just got it back in the mail today as undeliverable. There is no way to contact anyone involved with Signet since all phone numbers I can find have been disconnected.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go from here? Email me at [email protected]. |

Same situation in 2009 I bought a 2007 Toyota Carolla from Labadie Toyota of Bay City, MI (WORST DEALERSHIP EVER). I bought into my extended warranty for $2399.00 and the finance guy said after you complete the terms of the contract you will get a check back for the amount of $2399.00. I recently went and did some research after my car went over 100k only to find Signet bankrupt. This is fraud on the dealership end and also Signet. The dealership is offering me a gift card for $2399 which serves no purpose considering I no longer live there. I'm on board for a class action suit and I would love to bring the dealership into it as well. I firmly believe they are just as responsible. |

My warranty is about to expire and I am ready for my refund. I gather all the paperwork together and then find out while looking for an address to mail it to, they are all over the internet for breach of contract.
I am filing a complain with CA and NH (where I bought mine from). The Subaru Dealer said they probably can not do anything for me since I don't live there and they are giving service credit to most of the people affected by this. How does that help me?
I am also contacting the credit card I used to make the purchase to see what they can do about it. Anyone else have any other ideas on what to do? |
