| My sons car was repo'd (never should have been repo'd in the first place by NUVELL, but thats another story). Anyway, The car was repo'd on the22nd (Wed). My son called to get the car back and was told, it wasn't in their system yet.Called Thurs.23nd, not in system yet. Kept calling. No -one knows anything.Friday X-mas eve. No-one is in the offfice (Keep in mind everyday MORE CHARGES) Closed x-mas, closed sunday. Monday comes, the car has been moved. Moved where you ask? Good question. 2 more days go by,everyone is on extended holidays, no one can answer questions.called finance company and select recovery agents. Finally Monday Jan 3rd we get a total of what to pay to get the car back way over $1500.00 then we are told. Select recvoery agents in Aurora, IL cleaned the car out 12-27-2010 and have the plates. and the car went to auto auction in Rockford Ill. So living in the NW burbs of chicago, we drove to Aurora to Select Recovery Agents to recover the personal belongings and car plates. We went to the Office, The girl wanted my son to signa paper that had a almost detailed list of what was in his car, saying he got allof his personal property. He told her there were things in his car not on the list and He told he he wanted to see his stuff (for damage or missing) firstbefore he signed anything. So, they sent us across the street to the car holding lot, to a tin bldg. there sat a pile of my son's stuff. allof his electronics were missing. I told my son to call the police and the guy that was the guy in charge kicked me out of the bldg. he told me "Lady you need to leave" Soon my way out the door I told my son to go througheverything and we would call the cops. (in the back ground the guy kept yelling at me "leave Lady") I wasn't being rude or anything, I just stated we needed to report a theft. ..So a couple minutes went by my son came out and said Mom everything is there except my electronic stuff. I told him when I saw him going through the stuff I never saw any power cords either.(You would think ifone thinggot misplaced, at least the cords might be there) Thats when we knew there had to have been theft. no electronics, no cords. Evenhis cell phone cord was gone. I told my Son, They just took them all. Not knowing what cord went to which piece of equipment. They took 'em all to figure it it all out later.So we called the police, My son went in and signed for what was there. Asked for a copy of the ammended paper. The girl would not give him a copy.So 45 minutes later the cops show up. The Police officer is making out the report and asked my son for the ammended copy of what he did sigh for. He told her the girl in the office would not give him a copy. She went with him into the Office and DEMANDED, they issue a copy of the document to my son. My son told the guy if the electronics appeared before the cops got there we would not have a problem he would not file a complaint, but they didnt. so we filed a complaint with the police. two hoursin Aurora, to pick up car plates and property. I hope this guys job was worth the electronics. Cause we are filing with BBB, Illinois Recovery Association,Allied Financial Adjusters and sewing for the total cost of the property. Then off to Rockford to get the car. Total hrs that day 8 hrs. unbelievable. |
