| I hired Segal, Cohen & Landis, LLP and was represented by Gregory P. Segal. They were hired to resolve my back FTB and IRS taxes. I paid an upfront fee of $2500 plus $350 a month for over 2 years. My case was literally ripped to shred by this firm and innocent people were hurt. I had to file suit in superior court just to be able to bring this firm in front of an arbitrator, judge or jury. We complained and filed a demand to be heard in arbitration (AAA) per the contract I signed. This law firm failed to honor the arbitration clause in the agreement. Therefore, my case could not be heard on what they did wrong with our case. My case consists of many wrong doing by this firm and their are too many to list. This firm is taking advantage of innocent people who find themselves in a situation of having back taxes. They prey on these consumers knowing you do not have the means or the resources to fight back when they leave you stuck with the same problem you came to them about. In my case they made everything worse. You are stronger than you think. Some of us don't have the financial means to fight so you have to do it yourself. But you still have a voice. SEGAL, COHEN & LANDIS LLP SAMUEL C. LANDIS, TOOK MY MONEY $ 7, 050 AND DID NOTHING FOR NINE MONTH BUT FILE A POWER OF ATTORNEY !!
I paid Mr. Landis $ 2, 500 initial payment plus $ 350 a month for 12 month.
On the 12 month i called the feb and its directly to find out why my case was not settled.
I was informed by both agencies, the only paper work they receive from Mr. Landis office was a power of attorney.
I sent Mr. Landi's office hundreds of documents and tax returns to forward to the FTB and IRS they were NOT
received.
I ask Mr. Landis to honor the guarantee that he gave me in writing.
He did absolutely NOTHING !
I asked for my money back in writing three times. MY REQUESTS WERE IGNORED.
I paid a total $ 7, 050 for someone to file a power of attorney !!
After I found out they did nothing for 12 month I filed small claim case against Mr Samuel C. Landis and got judgment .
PLEASE DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF ! |

| On April 2, 2011, I tried and spent $57 to see what this information was about and what it contained as a 100% easy refund for non satisfaction was guaranteed. I viewed the content, I read the content, and the information was nothing new. Three weeks later, I tried to get a refund and the Website listed no phone numbers to call and the service help desk just opened another window to which I was already viewing with no additional help or active email account. This is false adverstising and I will get a 100% refund as the company lists a 60 day 100% full refund, no questions asked. We'll see... Steve Duncan |

Its really sad to see a hardworking and honest law firm like Segal Cohen and Landis get reviews from a website like this that is obviously fake and trying to sell negative media for attention.
Segal, Cohen & Landis doesn't have a helpdesk, they don't sell products, so comments like "I got charged 3x and never ordered anything" is just a poor attempt at a low quality website like this to make money and hurt peoples reputation. Segal Cohen and Landis Phone # is all over there website, and for that matter all over on places like (facebook page, ads, blog, and local directories.
I HIGHLY suggest if you want to learn about Segal Cohen & Landis you look at a REAL! review site and not trash like this. |
