I am the mother of one of Scot Wedgeworth's brides for the summer of 2011. We were excited Emily's wedding was chosen to be one of the Food Network shows for Scot. What we expected and what we got were on totally different scales. Scot promised me and continued to tell me that everything was going to be beautiful and fabulous. Told me to not worry about anything. All I did was worry when he bothored to show up about an hour before the rehersal and did very little that night in preparation for the wedding the next day. He was nowhere to be found when I woke up and he did not show up until after noon for a five wedding. Very little was done and I was in a panic. Many, many things were not done to my satisfaction....lights, tent, flowers, candles and lights in trees, furniture on the lawn, nice dance floor, a dj that knew what he was doing and a videographer that should have talked to me before he left early. The traditional intro of the wedding party was not done, dances were not announced, cake was not cut... not car was there to leave in that Scot had lined up, no wish lanterns to have when the bride and groom was leaving.....I could go on and on. For Anyone Interested...
You might check out Scot(t) Wedgeworth's business licences status with the cities he has worked in, the counties (including his "home one") he has/does worked in...and even the Great State of Alabama it's self.
Have it from a VERY GOOD source that at least as of the summer of 2010, when he first started trying to tape a reality type show, that he didn't any of these, and really didn't worry too much about it, OR plan to get them.
Past customers might want to check and see if they were really "doing business" with an actual Business, or just someone claiming to have one. The aforesaid entities might want to check it out for themselves too, as to when he actually might have gotten them (assuming he is bright enough to do so BEFORE going on national TV and announcing he is "In Business" and has been for a long while...one would hope he would have thought at least that far ahead...?) in comparison as to when he started hanging out his shingle.
Just thought someone should get this bit of info out there...along with all of the rest of "Mr Fabulous"s past.. |
