Sarah Anne Spencer Sarah Spencer Embezzler, Thief and Liar Racine, Wisconsin |
21st of Nov, 2011 by User771483 |
Sarah Anne Spencer, formerly known as Sarah Anne Hanson was convicted of stealing $420,000 in Brooklyn Park, MN. Here is the article taken from the star tribune: http://www.startribune.com/local/east/38732137.html Unfortunately she changed her name and moved to Racine, Wisconsin under the name Sarah Anne Spencer where she failed to disclose her conviction and stole more money from another small business. Fortunately her new employer was lucky enough to catch her. If she applies for a job with you, beware. Do not let this woman near any of your checkbooks or credit cards, wallet or cash. In addition to a thief she is a sociopathic liar and makes up stories. She convinced her new boss and all of her co-workers that she had a baby that died last year, that her dad was in prison for attempting to kill her mother, and that she was getting divorced. Although she had a wedding, there is not a marriage license filed in the State of Minnesota and she instead did a legal name change from Sarah Anne Hanson to Sarah Anne Spencer. After she left Minnesota she stopped paying restitution to our company as required as a condition of her probation. Do not let Sarah Spencer, Sarah Hanson or whatever her name is to come near your business. Her boyfriend/fiance/husband (whatever he REALLY is) is in on it with her and put all of the stolen cash in his name so that they could drive brand new HUMMERS and get a brand new Sea Ray boat valued at over 100k: Don't take my word for it, look it up on the Minnesota web sites. Name Change Case: http://pa.courts.state.mn.us/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=1614077286 Criminal Case: http://pa.courts.state.mn.us/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=1612138805 Previous Records of theft: http://pa.courts.state.mn.us/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=672624063 Read the facts and beware. She is very dangerous! |

She is not so dangerous anymore as she committed suicide probably due to this crap being spread about her. True or not - a life sentence was not warranted. I would suggest taking this down out of respect to her loved ones. |

For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. - Matthew 6:14-15
It's hard to accept things if your on either side of this. What she did was a terrible thing to do. And you (the person who wrote this) has done just the same. No one sin or evil or bad deed is any greater then the other. Sometimes the direction we choose to right a wrong isn't always the right path. It's not even a Christian thing, it's a human thing. Talking this way about someone is tragic. If writing this made you feel better I would suggest you get help. Jesus might be a good place to start. Just a thought. |

To VOICEofReason -
In order to be forgiven, you have to admit what you did wrong, and repent for your sins. This post wasn't written to make anyone feel better. It was written on another site while this troubled woman was still alive as a warning to other business owners, and was properly sourced. Apparently the content was syndicated to other sites.
She devastated two companies and their owners, employees and families financial lives. People worked hard, and saved money for their own futures, their financial security and their children's educations and had it all taken away in the name of greed. I don't expect you to understand what it's like to feel so violated.
Someone looking to do the hiring should have more warning than was afforded to these two INNOCENT victims of her crimes. FORGIVENESS has nothing to do with this posting. Newspapers write articles all the time about peoples wrong-doings, are they to be held accountable when wrong-doers kill themselves.
Stealing is a terrible thing to do, and so is suicide, who are you to decide that the thief gets a pass, but the victim gets words of condemnation from you simply because the thief committed another sin.
You don't even know the circumstances surrounding this troubled woman's death. Rest assured it had very little to do with this posting and everything to do with mental illness and feelings of helplessness. At the end of the day the ONLY person responsible for her death is her.
For the RECORD - forgiveness is something that comes from the heart. We cannot change the past, we cannot change the fact that she stole, we cannot remove these posts We have asked and been refused. We asked not because posting was wrong in the first place, but that in light of her death there is no reason to warn anybody. We cannot change the fact that she is dead. We can, and HAVE prayed for her and we can forgive in our hearts, but none of this changes the facts that we ALL must accept. STOP COMMENTING, STOP JUDGING and MOVE ON WITH YOUR OWN LIFE. This story is over |

What ever this website is, is merely a spin off of the original. I did not write the original post, but I have been deeply affected by this woman's actions. Probably, more so than any of you rubberneckers. No one could have foreseen what she was going to ultimately do to herself. Everyone involved feels remorse and saddened that the person that they "thought" they knew (regardless of who she REALLY was) ended this situation in this way. However, let me remind you that you perhaps you do not understand the depth of deceit and dishonesty that and the little remorse she had when trying to destroy the lives of others.
Do you think that by stealing from a small company she did not put some REAL hardships on the people around her? What about their children? What about their families? What about the children that had to eat a grilled cheese sandwich for dinner because there just wasn't enough money coming in, while she was at concerts, wining and dinning on that family’s dime! What about people that befriended her and invested their time and emotion in her, only to be devastated when finding out that EVERYTHING she said she was a lie.
Do any of you really know her, or are you just some philanthropist that got a hold of a hot story? If you did know her, I am assuming she lied to you too.
She chose the ending to her own story. She had many ways out that did not involve her own demise. She was in A LOT more trouble, and had much bigger consequences when she ruined the lives of the people she embezzled from in Minnesota. Let’s not forget that we are not speaking about a saint here! $420, 000 is a BIG deal.
Listen, the bottom line is that the original post was a warning to other business owners, because trust me; background checks don't cover name changes!
There is nothing left to be angry at, there is no malice. The truth is still the truth, and there is still a large mess that she left behind for those families to try and straighten out. Had the story ended differently and everyone found out that she ruined a small business and the family behind it, would you still see her as the victim? Instead, you attack the very person she wronged... You attack the person who has had their life turned upside down, because they trusted and believed in someone else.
Everyone feels saddened by the turn of events. There is not one person that is glad that this happened. Let me remind you that person that wrote the original post (AS A WARNING TO OTHER VULNERABLE BUSINESS OWNERS) had the courtesy not to keep spewing as other have. They only wrote one other time and that was to defend them self against those who are not involved and their two cents. |
