Jason Michael Jones A.K.A The Salty Droid is simply using a loophole in the law to slander, commit libel and defame the characters of others because he is a licensed attorney. (Although his license is inactive.) Attorneys are exempt by law from being in trouble for libel, slander & defamation of character. He likely decided to become a lawyer because he wanted to make the "big money", make mommy & daddy proud, social "respect", & false "prestige". He soon found out that becoming a lawyer does not guarantee oneself financial security, happiness, & success. And he was also very stressed out. He started looking at "internet marketing" business models. How else could he have found about these guys that he routinely moans about? (They are not too well-known in mass media or mainstream.) Tried internet marketing with no success & now has decided he has nothing better to do with his time but to resort to childish name calling, mocking, harassing commentary & propaganda. Some of his points are very well taken & actually are truthful but a great proportion of the other points are nothing more than slander, libel, defamation of character, negative nonsense & geared more towards seeking to destroy a person just for the pleasure rather than the JUSTICE. He doesn't care about justice. He ruins a lot of his credibility by personally attacking some of his subjects with unrelated insults of their crimes (Some of which I agree are defiantly con-artists) & he also ruins a lot of credibility with some ignorant statements. A lot of his commentators also post false statements, nonfactual statements, opinions with very low merit/actual value & personal childish attacks. He is an extremist & that destroys his own credibility. Keep in mind that people tend to do & say things online that they would never do or say in the "physical" world. And that rule applies to both the "villains" discussed on the Salty Droid as well as the "righteous ones" on the Salty Droid. People as a group act horribly in ways which they would never act alone & when you combine that with the level of concealment offered by the internet; you get a very irrational group of people who act as uncivil as the villains on their very own territory. They lose control of their emotions and fail to think objectively as well as logically and critically. I do not protect the actions of some of these "phony pretend" millionaires or unethical millionaires offering a false dream but I also do not protect neither give appraise to some of the actions of Jason Michael Jones A.K.A The Salty Droid. Please think critically, logically & objectively. Neither accept or reject claims & opinions from someone without first doing a through investigation on your own to see for yourself if something is likely truthful or likely good for you within your personal satisfaction. If you can't find out if something is likely good for you or if it's likely truthful without getting burned - whether it's financially or in the form of some experience - then simply reject pursuing it further & don't feed it's fuel of fire. If you fully accept that you could careless how much you may lose, then pursue it. But if you care A LOT about what you could possibly lose from a particular pursuit in life, whether it's a hobby, business, job, or relationship - whatever - then do NOT pursue it. If you have been short-changed by some charlatan - you are defiantly entitled to point your finger at them & I would encourage you to put some of the blame on that charlatan but at the same time try to learn from it so this way you can become stronger and wiser. Believing that everything that happens to you is your fault is delusional but believing everything that happens to you is someone else's fault is also delusional. Learn to open your mind to the countless different points of view of a particular subject at matter. Never put your full support in only one point of view and neither accept that their can be only point of view. Points of views can be unlimited & once you accept your mind to acknowledge all of them - you will learn to judge things better for yourself. Birds of a feather flock together, don't completely side with any one group of people. Acknowledge all sides of a group and see what you feel based upon legitimate critical investigation is right for YOU and only YOU. Michel Fortin quotes here "Do I like them? To be candid, some blogs and especially some of the commentators on these blogs are caustic, jarring, and vile. Some are a bit too toxic for my taste. But while I may not like them, I dont necessarily blame them. After all, they didnt just appear out of nowhere with the sole intent to make marketers lives miserable. Many of these types of anti-scam blogs were created as a result of a personal, bad experience. Plus, they can easily polarize people. Many disgruntled consumers who are attracted to these blogs have grown highly cynical, suspicious, and resentful. So its only natural they voice their grievances on them. But what frightens me is that the voice of genuine scam victims are muffled by a small yet vocal minority of anti-marketing extremists who spew their venom senselessly. These pitchfork-wielding protesters seem hellbent on destroying any levelheaded discussion. They flame anyone who voices any opposing views, and rabidly pounce on anyone who might want to take a stab at having an intelligent, sensible argument. Ive seen some bigoted commentators bash others in an attempt to manipulate, irritate, and denigrate. This is childish behavior, and it defeats the purpose. They should focus on the issues, and not on whether someone is overweight, effeminate, or disabled. Focus on what they do, not who they are. Nevertheless, I often want to join in on the conversation myself, but I stop short of doing so because I fear what I say will fall on deaf ears if not get drowned by a handful of witch-hunting McCarthyists who trawl around for any faint smell of blood. Now, this doesnt mean the other side is innocent, either. Namecalling and ad hominem attacks occur on both sides." As a matter of disclosure: I do not hang out all day on internet marketing forums and rarely ever use typical internet marketing info product. The last time I purchased a internet marketing product has been well over 4 years for only $10. I do not sell internet marketing products nor am I associated with any person who has been discussed on the Salty Droid in any way. My final comments on Jason Michael Jones: Big uncontrollable ego. A big controlled ego is a very good thing but only if it's controlled. My final comments on Salty Droid Blog Commentators: From my observations it seems that a lot of the posters with a exemption of a few of them have not even been a victim of the villains discussed. Rather it seems to me that they simply use the blog as personal entertainment tool rather than a useful method to express their legitimate frustrations, financial loss & remorse in order to have justice and to protect anyone else in the future; few of the posters use the blog in a constructive manner in my experience as a neutral observer. |
