Rooms 101 travel
Rooms 101 travel agency Company deceived me and took excess money from bank account rooms101.com, South Carolina
5th of Apr, 2011 by User896600
I was told by a friend who had not traveled with Rooms 101.com Travel Agecy yet but she had booked a vacation through to give them a call to book a weekend getaway at a very good price, what a m istake that turned out to be. I booked my weekend getaway with them and distinctly told the sales woman that i was divorced and my friend was also divorced and we were not married and there was nothing to show that we shared a residence together. She continued to book the reservation anyway and said that was not a problem. When we arrived in Myrtle Beach at our distanation I was under the assumption that i had to make an appointment at the facility we were staying at because she told me to make sure i booked my appointment before leaving the facility, well I was glad that my cell phone let me in on my e-mail because they had already booked my apponjtment time for me with out telling me. So i used my GPS to attempt to find the location from the address they had down which was a incorrect address. I finally made some phone calls and found the correct address and made there and the representative informed me that she was excusing me from the tour she used the word excuse not disqualify, but when i checked by bank account there was $200.00 taken from accoung by MBA Marketing. When I called to ask why they told me I was disqualified because my friend and I could not produce matching addresses on our Identication. I fisrt called and informed a sales woman that i didn't understand why they withdrew $200.00 from my account she became very hostile and told me because i was disqualified and when i tried to explain to her that the representive said she was excusing me from the tour she did not use the term disqualify she wasn't hearing it. I then asked if i could speak to a supervisor and she said she was it,then I asked her why was she so hostile because i should be the one upset because its my money on the line not hers. Then finally she let me talk to person that booked my vacation and she said they woulod book another tour so i could redeem my $200.00 then lie after lie came. I then got a phone call from some man not a gentleman named Howard who caimed he would find somewhere closer than where i traveled to and he would call me back in an hour, well one hour has turned into days and still they have not come up with anywhere i could tour so they can refund my money. Now its at the point where whenever i call i immediately get sent to a voice mail.... So my suggestion to everyone is to NOT BOOK A VACATION WITH ROOMS 101.COM THEY WILL SUCKER YOU OUT OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! They are cery deceptive lying people at this travel agency!
Truthfully,
Yolanda
