Beverage Plus was started in 1936 in Chicago as a family business. Ronald Serota brought the Company to Nevada and incorporated in 2004 and opened the business to the public in 2007. Beverage Plus went public through a reverse merger with a parent company. Beverage Plus arranged to transfer 40 percent of its stock to the public company and started trading on stock market. Although Beverage Plus closed in 2010, the parent company remains trading on the stock market and at the present is trading at just under one cent per share. There are 5.9 Billion shares authorized and the public trading "float" is 14,000,000 shares. The market capitalization reported on OTCMarkets.com web site for this stock market is $19,000,000 (the market capitization figure does not accurately reflect the business valuation - which is either based on assets held or income). In 2007, Ronald Serota acquired all the licenses to over 40 beverage products from Hugh White in Warrenton, Missouri. Hugh White was a senior forumlator - product development and regional head for many states for one of the top two beverage companies in the World. After retiring from that executive position, he founded Roubidoux Beverage Company in Warrenton, Missouri. Hugh White developed a number of flavored soda - each lightly carbonated and fresh tasting. His products were shipped throughout the United States. One of the top sales persons in the midwest was brought on in order to head up sales for Beverage Plus. He was responsible for the distribution and sales of the M. C. 2 (pronounced mc squared) energy drink as well as 40 other products licensed from Hugh White. The energy drink was a popular beverage carried in thousands of locations from 1998 to 2007. In January, 2008, Ronald Serota acquired the entire Roubidoux Beverage Company product line, which included the Energy Drink. Starting in 2008, Beverage Plus products were promoted in NASCAR Nationwide Series stock car racing events. The company sponsored less than 12 races, and brought its distributors and area sales persons to the events to meet and greet the team as well as talk to the pit crew, crew chief, team owner and driver. Beverage Plus gained nationwide exposure as it raced throughout the country including Las Vegas (which drew 130,000 fans from all over), Dallas, Nashville, Darlington SC, Bristol TN, Atlanta, Miami- Homestead. Beverage Plus also supported a number of local racing events in Charlotte, NC including a 24 hour indoor racing event involving a Kart Racing team in Charlotte, NC and modified stock cars racing in another series. Beverage Plus sponsored a race car colored in PINK with a pink suit for the male driver in a sponsorship associated with the Susan B. Komen Foundation and their research for breast cancer. Sponsored cars appeared both the Re/Max - ARCA series stock car race and the NASCAR Nationwide Series Race. Beverage Plus opened a distribution location though an indepdent company in Miami, FL. The company sponsored music events and provided free beverages and shirts and hats to the listeners. This event was geared to attract Latin American residents of Miami to our beverage products. The Company made numerous travels to Miami to build up that territory and to support its distributor. The Company also reached an agreement to distribute its products throughout the Carribbean and within various Cruise Ships. For timing reasons, such distribution did not work out as planned. |
