Rocky DePhillipo RJ DePhillipo Deadbeat Landlord Takes Renter's Large Deposit and Runs out of State Internet

I rented an apartment from RJ "Rocky" Dephillipo from 2010-2011. I should have known that he would have stolen my security deposit from the beginning when he told me not to answer the door of the apartment i was renting.. very strange. He loves too talk and claim he is a "good" person and that he hates all of the scam artists out there.. I never truly trusted him myself, realizing he was a very big talker. When my lease ended at the end of 2010, he was currently in New Jersey, living at his Mother's house, i told him through the phone and text that i was moving out as planned and he tried to get me to stay longer, i refused and told him i already had another apt lined up. I then asked about my security deposit... no reply. at around $700 at this point. Eventually he told me his mother was really sick, and that he couldnt make it down to Florida, so he said he would call me when he got back into town to settle. 6 months go by.... and i saw my old neighbor and asked him how he was, this old neighbor told me that "Rocky" has been back for a few weeks and that his apartments were going into foreclosure. I immediately tried going over there and no one ever answered any of his apartment doors. So i sent a certified warning letter,.. no response, then 21 days later, by Florida law, I sent a court notice for small claims court to "Rocky" When the police tried to deliver the summons, they couldnt because "rocky" left town and let his apartments go into foreclosure, (foreclosure stickers on the windows) A week after this, i got a tip that he briefly came back and was trying to unload his furniture out of the foreclosed apartment. I drove up and there he was on his front porch, he saw me and immediately ran. I went up to the front porch and left a copy of the court summons, personally. Ultimately i was a great tenant, i even fixed the lock on the fron door at no charge to him, out of my own time and pocket. The Hearing for "Rocky" is for October 12, 2011 at 9:00 AM at the Delray Beach, FL Courthouse for pre-trial. If anyone knows where "RJ" or "Rocky" is now living.. please post his whereabouts on here. He is very deceptive and a liar, do not trust him.
