Deception of agreement. Did not pay for work

My name is Mike Salese, I contracted a roof job with Rob Fiore of LYNNX LLC. I estimated the job of around $10,000.00 but told Rob Fiore I would do it for $8,000.00 He asked if we could do the job for $7,000.00 because that is what his other bids came to, I was reluctant to go that low but he promissed many many other jobs being he was this big time investor. and he wanted us to do the work because of the references regarding our work.

We met at the investment property to be worked on and went over the terms and conditions of our agreement at which time he wanted the porch roof added in for the same price and another discout of $500 for paying cash, I was ready to walk out being this person has wasted so much of my time, but he took me outside and showed me other work he needed done...so I agreed and we signed off on the contract.

He gave me a $3,000.00 check deposit...I mobilized my men within days and had all the material delivered to the site.We ripped one side at a time in fear of getting caught in the rain, and tarped the roof daily...6 weeks later we finished. This was a very difficult job and Stew and Irve veteran roofers who did the installation were getting heat exhaustion and left at 2:00 most days.

When ever a payment was due Rob Fiore was no were to be found, when I caught up with Rob to collect a progress payment he would give me a check, a check that was worthless and sent to me by my bank as UN-PAID even though our agreement was for cash.

Rob Fiore of LYNNX will tell you lies, and not honor your agreement, the work the men did was water tight and 100% improvement. and we should have been paid for that work. The address of the house for view is...1116 Main Street Slatington, PA
