First I want to say thank you to the comments about rie-a-way on this site, becasue of you I probably saved hundreds of $$. Thanks Again!! Well I was pleasently surprised that Rite-A-Way called within an hour to schedule for the next day between 10 - 2 and that they would be calling 1/2hr before arriving. At noon thier office called and said it would be closer to 2, however that they didnt call. At 2:39 I called our home warranty service, AHS whom in turn called Rite-a-way. AHS called me back and said Rite-A-Way is running behind and will definately call me 4 - 5pm . 5pm came and with it no call. This is surely a red flag!!! I called Rite-a-way at approx 5pm and once again they apologized put me on hold came back and said they are running late they will call me in a couple of hours 7 - 8pm and they will call 1/2hr before arriving. So the time went from 10 - 2 then 4 - 5 then 7 - 8pm with no call. So I ended up canceling the service call and her response was ...what ever... I had taken the day off and even if I had not taken it off the contractors responsibilty is to follow through. AHS should not have to call the contractors they enlist. Well something was wrong with thier business ethics so somehting had to be wrong with their quality of work. So I started researching them on the internet. I called AHS a 2nd time and spoke w/ Sherandra @ AHS at approx. 5:05pm to request service using another contractor which they provided, but have not received a call from yet because it is friday night and dont expect to hear until monday. I explained the situation to her but she had no answers and left me hanging so I asked her how AHS handles customer complaints, she said she will send it to AHS contractor relations department but did not ask me to submit in writing so asked her if I could get a letter from that department letting me know they had received my complaint and are working to resolve it. She said they dont do that. So Conversation was obviously over. Am waiting to see how new service contractor works out. Hoping for the best. would hate to think AHS is as bad as there contractors!!!!!! |
