Ridgewood Bushwick serves maybe 2% of black people in my area, I would like to start of with the Restore Program, I was called on November 9, 2010 by supervisor of Housing in Ridge wood bushwick, after 2 years asking for help, he stated Ms. Amos I got good news for you, after two years and my ceiling falling to the floor, he decides he was going to help me, I am a person with multi disabilities, home bound at the time, and my traveling is limited, Supervisor from Housing Department and Secretary came to my home, but before they came to my home, they sent contractor. I knew there was something not right about this contractor, because he only came with 5 buckets, 4 cans of tar, 2 cans of White Paint to seal it, I called supervisor of Ridgewood Bushwick Housing Department, and asked him did the contractor Harvey had a license, I was ignored by Supervisor, I called the Supervisor many times telling him what this contractor was doing, this was a 7,500 dollar Job, stated Supervisor of Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizens Council, I did not get the contact or my Deed and personal papers until Ed Fonta which now is retired told them to send it, when I first spoke to Ed Fonta in the month of Febuary 2011, ED Fonta said he was going to get to the bottem of this, I called him back in August or July, he said he was going to handle it, it is now Oct 1, 2011 before Ed Fonta retired, he never return any of my calls, 8 months there was no investigation, but there is still no warranty, I called the state I was referred to Allen William, which refuse to take any off my calls, I called him more than 5 times and left a message, I spoke to Barry Wollener Supervisor of Restore program, its been a month, and he never got back to me, I left him a message I never received any call, the worked which was claim to be done by JI Liberty Construction company, as per contractor, JL Liberty stated he never signed this contract, knew nothing about this Job, and someone stole his license, I requested Inspectors, I was denied, on contract states that Inspectors came to my house, which is a lie, signed by Housing Department JM Initial , On the contract its signed as JM, this is not the contractors name , the contractor from Ridgewood Bushwick is not the same contractor; who did the chimney, or roof, Harvey s contractor stuffed garbage bags around the shoot going out on the roof, because of the leak, the wood was rotten, that is left the same, Harvey he never asked the worker to take the old tar paper off, he never put in a guitar for the roof is now sinking, Harvey was Hired by Ridgewood Buswick he claimed there was a damage Chimney and Harvey the contractor claim he fixed it, he never fix my Chimney its the same way it was before, because I am a black american and I complain against Ridgewood Bushwick which is a Latino Area , Administration, they were all going to ignore me, because I filed a complaint, they were rude, and disrespectful, I am now accountable for 7,500 dollars, which the Job was a fraud, and contract a forgery, of people who supervise the area where I live, I am really up set because these administrators who work for the city, is allowing this to take place, which is a crime against the city, because of the color of my race, all the agency that are listed with Ridgewood Buswick has joined together nevertheless I hold the fraudulent contract signed by the fraudulent himself, this is a cover up. When my mother was alive she signed up with the weatherization program, refereed by Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizen Social Worker, my mother was very stern in who fix her house, and signing contracts, Ridgewood bushwick offered my mother a refrigerator from Empower, they said they were preserving energy, from what I learn about Weatherization that they would weatherize your house, Weatherization can include some or all of the following: Replacing or repairing heating systems, including boilers and hot-water
heaters.
Applying superior weather-stripping and caulking.
Installing high-efficiency cellulose insulation in walls and attics.
Replacing inefficient appliances with Energy Star® models.
Installing health and safety hardware, especially smoke and carbon monoxide
detectors.
Installing low-flow shower heads, aerators, and energy-saving light bulbs.

This never happen never have a Inspector come to my home, to inspect anything, it was so called in my mothers apartment, I had to put up blankets at the door, it is still so cold, you cant sleep on the first floor, I can even rent, but Ridgewood Buswick states that my residency now has reached limit; this means that the city invested alot of money in my residency, my mother passed Oct 1, 2007 not only did this Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Citizen Council scamed her, but they are now scamming me, I asked Ms. Wiggins Supervisor of Community Enviromental Center to please send me copies of all works done in my house, she never return my call, I said Ms. Wiggins you are the supervisor of Ridgewood Bushwick Senior Counsel, I have spoken with Ms. Wiggins for the last 3 years, never got a reply back, I was told by Ms. Wiggins that she will look into it, and send, never happen, I applied for empowerment a month ago, never heard from them, which is connected to Ridgewood Bushwick Council, these are some of the people who denied to assist, and reminded me, they already heard of my story and refuse to give me any assistant, I am still without refrigerator, and hot water which I am entitle to, I spoke to Pearlene Morgan which she was rude, she said I told you I could not help you, she works for weatherization, I was denied an aplcatation from Environmental Communty Environmental Center by Ana Lawson, I said why wont you send me an application? I am now blocked from receiving anything from these agencies, because I reported fraud, which I hold the documents, Ridgewood Bushwick is now under investigation, the hot water tank that this organization gave my mother was defected, when asked for warranty I was denied, as per plumber the hot water tank was defected even to the buttons, it can't be fixed, Ridgewood bushwick refuse to give me warranty, it was a used hot water tank, I am a diabetic I have no way of refrigerating my food, my water tank is broken and cannot be fix, because the Contractor Jimmy Martinez hired, It cannot be replace, and because of the lies , Weatherization refuse to allow me an application. |
