The company was established in Beachwood, OH however it has wide spread branches and offices network throughout the country and abroad. Despite the financial crisis it was decided to set up a new company branch in your area thereby you are offered the position of Dispatch manager. Dispatch manager position is connected with the assurance branch of our delivery service. In this office we come forward as a mediator between seller and purchaser of the goods. We aim to control the quality and status of the goods within the transaction and to control the legality of payment performed by a purchaser. Quality check of the goods is carried out in the specialized centers called "Packages processing centers". Packages processing center will be set up within 6 weeks in the business center of your city. Dispatch manager - is a FULL TIME position in an office at Packages processing center of the company, working eight-hour shift per day and 5 days per week. Dispatch manager is the intermediate between main services of Packages processing center of the company. Main duties for the Dispatch manager include: - Receiving orders for carrying out the escrow operations from the account executive and submitting the financial details of the transaction to the database. - Control over receiving goods at the warehouse. - Expedition of goods to the supplementary tests at the quality control department. - Receiving the results from the department of payment legality check. - Set assignments for shipping the verified packages for the company's courier service. Every Dispatch manager is provided with a well-appointed workplace in the company's office. Benefits like providing medical insurance and corporate cellular services and Internet access may be additionally negotiated. Now when you have a general idea about the position I'd like to explain some important organizational issues to you. Before starting the work in our company every Dispatch manager has to complete a two-month On-The-Job training course. It is stipulated by the requirements to a candidate according to the job description. The complete course consists of two parts: "Courier" and "Controller", duration of each part is 1 month. During the course "Courier" a Dispatch manager learns the basic principles of receiving and shipping goods, tracking goods, and is introduced with the main problems that may acquire in the field of shipping goods. This course aims to train the Dispatch manager to work effectively in an office, so he/she will be able to give out necessary assignments on receiving and sending goods for the courier services, and will be able if needed to provide correct instructions to a courier about the best way of processing certain packages. The course "Controller" provides a Dispatch manager with the basic knowledge of quality check of received goods, also the Dispatch manager learns to work with the software specially developed for our company. These are remote On-The-Job training courses on the basis of Internet and telephone communications under the supervision of a personal "tutor" - the employee of our company. Now we'll pass to the important question about your salary. The company is ready to offer you a monthly payment of $3500 plus bonus for the quantity and quality of work performed by you. Dispatch manager's monthly payments may come up to $5000 with the bonuses. You'll get paid also for the training period, compensation during the "Courier" course consists of $1500-$2000, and $2000-$2500 for the course of "Controller", depending on the number of processed packages. You may find more precise conditions in the agreements attached to this letter. At this point our interactive interview is completed.
