They spammed my contact forms with an offer to protect me from RIPOFF REPORT. I am a business person, and have no problem with folks complaining about me doing a bad job . . . (btw, I haven't been reported - Could it be that I do a little extra to make things fair with my customers when there is a problem?) I don't fear people telling the truth. This company spammed me through the websites I own and host. They deliberately spammed me talking about how terrible places like this are for allowing consumers to voice their concerns over a merchant's bad behavior. You folks should be applauded! Great job, wish I had known about you sooner. I have a portion of my form where the submitter must agree that they understand the "Can Spam Act", and affirm that they understand that it is ILLEGAL to spam: "By checking this box you affirm that you understand spamming is illegal under the Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act of 2003 (CAN-SPAM or the Act). U.S. Companies who hire foreign contractors to carry out their spamming can be held liable for their contractors violation of United States law when done
at their direction and under their supervision." They had to agree to this statement in order to send this email. And they have a problem with Ripoff Report . . . they are probably a bunch of crooks anyways, otherwise they would not have sent this message. Here is the message: "My name is Tony and I am a representative of Reputation Thrusters www.reputationthrusters.com +1 (315) 288 3344 [email protected] We can help you improve your online business reviews and online image. Do you see a Complaint Report when you search your name or your business name? Then we can help you get rid off unwanted links from ripoffreport.com, complaintsboard.com, pissedconsumer.com, .gov (government news), undesired press releases or any bad reputation. The Reputation Thrusters team will take an aggressive stand against that negative content and bury it up deep in the search engine results so that it will never see the prime pages again, consolidating in the process your respectable name. | upon inspecting their website... all of their little "shield" images that they use as logos were obviously stolen from a stock photography website. They didn't even try to touch them up. Talk about a bad reputation... |

They have been quite clever in setting up twitter and facebook accounts and pages with the term spam in them - so if you type in Reputation Thrusters spam - they will come top of thesearch engines. In other words all the bad press is put way down the list by them - so people who only get one e-mail from them don't actually recognise they are getting spammed.
Please spread the word that this company is up to no good.

We were spammed by them as well through our online form, and we are in the same business so that was kind of strange.
I did a little digging (3 minutes or so) and it appears to be run by (or associated with) a Romanian person named "Gabriel Sarcinschi", we can see references to the names "Tony" and "Jason".

You were the victim of a marketing program called 'Google-Cide'. These reputation management companies created and launched this program in 2011.
They coined the term Googles Humility Algorithm in order to bring unsuspecting victims into one of their nearly 3, 000 affiliate website which has an algorthim which maps out your social network and whom in your network has children or a career that depends on their reputation. That person is then targeted. The reputation management companies blame either Google or Ripoff Report to cover their own criminal enterprise.
