Salvatore Petrucci, owner of Renaissance Malibu Holistic Wellness Center portrays himself to be an MD when he is just a dentist who lost his license because of his drug use. He's been in Rehab himself FOUR times and lives with extreme paranoia. I was informed that he is supposedly purchasing narcotics illegally from other countries like Canada and Mexico. He rips off all his clients because the Treatment he provides is all smoke and mirrors. He says he treats you for addictions to alcohol, oxycontin, opiates, benzos, cocaine, xanax, vicodin, and other addictions, but I left there more drugged up then when I arrived. Also, I found out he doesn't pay his employees and has substantial lawsuits filed against him (see www.lasuperiorcourt.org). In addition, he has an Spiritual Director at Renaissance Malibu, The Reverend Leo Booth, who supposedly still gets drunk daily and I saw postings on YOUTUBE that he tried to corner a little boy and was kicked out of the Church in California where he was a priest because of his alleged pedophile tendencies. Would you go to Treatment at a facility where the owner is using speed every day and their Executive Director preaches abstinence and yet, gets drunk every day, not to mention makes sexual advances to anyone who will accept them? Renaissance Malibu Treatment Center sued me for a small balance I owed them and I didn't pay because I left early due to Sal Petrucci's alleged drug use and the program is complete chaos. You have to drive back and forth between houses and it feels like you're on a special yellow bus. What's great is I countersued them and won and now I'm going to share with the world that Renaissance Malibu Treatment Center and Dr. Sal Petrucci prey on innocent victims who currently have a problem with substance abuse or addictions to alcohol, prescription drugs, oxycontin, heroin, vicodin, or maybe them may struggle with bi-polar disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Depression, Relationship Issues, or PTSD. In closing, if I were you I would not throw away my $55,000 to Renaissance Malibu or Sal Petrucci. This guy is diabolical and is high on prescription drugs the majority of the time. I even heard his wife Amy is sick of his drug use and wants to divorce him yesterday. For $55,000, you're much better off going somewhere else. I saw a therapist only once or twice a week and all that they want is your money. Once they have your money for your Treatment, they could care less about you after that. The owner, Salvatore Petrucci, is addicted to any type of amphetamine he can get his hands on. So, if you're addicted to alcohol |

I worked at Renaissance Malibu briefly. My opinions of how poorly run it was got me a quick exit, thankfully. The staff are mainly ex-alcoholics and drug addicts. Most of those who were there when I was are gone. David Kaiser, John Burns, Ross Donahue, Leila Mesghali, Nicole Gilbert and a number of other support staff. Medications were passed by people who did not not know the purpose of the medication, many clients were over medicated, and for up to 16 hours out of any day there are no licensed staff in case of emergency. In case of emergency the nearest hospitals are 20 miles away in either Thousand Oaks or Santa Monica. If someone wants to contact me, please do. I would love to see this place exposed for what it is. I was there 2 weeks, I am licensed and would gladly testify as to the underhanded nature of that place. |
