I met with Remedy Roofing two weeks ago and they told me that they were local in Mckinney. I signed the papers with them and asked them to take care of my house and roof. They sounded great and told us they would get the windows boarded up. I had to call 3 times before they showed up to do that. When they got there, I asked what took so long and they said cause they just got there from Houston. I asked why they didnt send someone from Mckinney and they said they were from Mckinney. That was the first lie. I started researching them and found multiple complaints on the BBB and on scam report. I asked them to please not come back as they had even lied about being in business in Mckinney since 2005. They said they would but that they had a contract with the insurance company to do the inspection. I was told that they were professionals at that and they would not charge anything to do it. The insurance company showed up and saw Remedy Roofing and after talking with them for some time I found out that there was no contract between the insurance company and Remedy Roofing. I immediately asked them to leave. They left but the next day they came back and told me that I owed them money for repairs and for their other work with the insurance inspector. I told them they should leave and they told me they had a right to be there and they would lean my property. They did nothing but threaten me and my mother. I almost went to blows with them when they called my mother a liar and accused us of trying to get out of our contract. I dont want them on my property again. I will let everyone one know that they are a bunch of high pressure salesmen that lie about everything. Now I have a supposed lawyer that calls and threatens to sue us for breach of contract. We just dont want to deal with them. I paid them $400 to leave us alone. Please report them to everyone. I hope they never sell another person in Texas.
