reliance first capital york moore & wes pruitt I was told if refi was denied, i would be reimbursed the 500.00 appraisal fee, they now reject this

I was contacted by york moore at reliance first capital, regarding refinancing our house, he took all my information over the phone and sent a letter with all the required paperwork that he needed, i sent everything he requestd. After he received the information he said everything looked good and he would need me to pay 500.00 to have the house appraised, I agreeded to do so after I had his assurance that if the refi was denied that the 500.00 would be reimbursed back to me, he agreed to those terms. As a month went by he assured me everything was moving forward and we should be closing any time soon During this process he told that we didnt have to pay next months payment as we would close before the 15th and to treat myself and my wife with this money. Time kept passing and we still didnt close jepordizing my credit with citi bank being late on this skipped payment. We made this payment late anyway. I gave york a deadline which passed with closing and his supervisor wes pruitt interveened telling me that it would close the following wed. which didnt happen, After more than 2 months from inital contact york moore called to tell me the loan had been denied, I requested the 500.00 appraisal fee and he said they denied the request. This company is incompetent and dishonest , my advice is to walk away asap
