regional acceptance Scott Cornatzer NO RIGHTS AS A CONSUMER WITH REGIONAL. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE Internet

My husband Gabriel and I have a car financed together as co owners and he has taken the car out of state. I did find out payments have not been made and when I talked to the regional acceptance co. 8/24/10 .I explained to the manager Scott I wanted the car to be picked up due to my husband going to prison on 10/8/10 my husband will be locked up for 2 yrs & the payments have not been made & I can not make them I was recently laid off. Scott at regional acceptance co stated by the time regional acceptance co. goes to repose the car my husband will be incarcerated because it will be 30-45 more days before they go out to pick up the car .He offered to defer the payments 2mths to make me current & when my husband gets locked up I was to call the car in stolen if he did turn the car in by then . per scott it will better not to have a repo on my credit and to do it this way rather than hav it repoed .Scott was given the address & 2contact numbers for Gabriel he stated he was going to contact Gabriel. Scott from regional acceptance co was in contact with Gabriel re: the car I guess it was agreed to be picked up on 10/7/10 Per email from Scott . From 8/24/10 to 10/7/10 there was 13 e-mail from Scott @ regional acceptance co and he responded to me 4 times assuring me the car was going to picked up on 10/7/10 and . Gabriel was locked up on 10/8/10 and. I requested Scott to call me when the car was in regional acceptance co possession. Scott has not returned any of calls or e-mails since 10/7/10. Finally 4 days after I did get someone on the phone a customer service rep. I tried to call before and the rep stated they had phone problems thats why it just kept kicking me back to an automated .I asked the rep. what do I need to make a police report since I knew my husband was in custody I was not sure what happened to the car & I explained to her I sent 8 e-mails & more than 10 phone calls to Scott with no response. Customer service. stated theres a payment made so the car is current. I asked for the car to be picked up and they stated no since the niece of my Gabriels is going to be making payments she was going to keep the car and make the payments. I talked with 3 different people that night 10/12/10 from regional acceptance co. and was told the same thing, but when I asked who would be resp. if something happens to the car the car co. told me the people that are on the loan my Gabriel & my self.. I did ask for the regional acceptance co to remove my name since they allowed some else to make payments and they told they couldnt but they can let someone else not even on the papers have and make decisions on the car but I would still be responsible on 10/13/10 I spoke with Shawna from regional acceptance co another manager I guess it was Scotts partner in the dept..She stated she was aware of the situation and the car was current and they were not going to pick it up. . I informed Shawna there is no ins. & and has not been for 3mths now I was told it was my problem. They just did not want to hear me no more. now they are still calling me stating the car has not been pd for 3 months they constantly called me. the last 2phone calls they stated even if the car was stolen I still need to make payments I did ask the caller the car was stolen she stated she couldnt tell me nothing about the car being stolen both reps stated the same thing to me I just needed to make a payment. I informed regional Now that the car was ordered in my divorce for me to sell or return it to the finance co. Regional still does not want to hear me Scott stated they do not have to fallow a court order they are going to leave the car there. I was insulted by Scott he kept telling me I was just a bitter women.i explained to scott no one wants a $10,000 debt on there head with no kind of rights but still be responsible . I req. they do not make any changes on the account and remove the person name on account on 10/26/10 they did not listen to me they continue to make billing changes to the account and continue to take the payments .
