I bought a Samsung DVD V9800 (DVD & VHS Player) from Redtagcellular.com on 4/26/2011. One of the rep just reply to me that it has status changed, but didn't tell me anything about when the item will be shipped from point A to point B. I was waiting for a week and didn't get any status back. I then sent email to ask for a refund since Redtagcellular.com didn't have any status date for me. On 5/11/2011, I got an email (no name or ID were provided) and metioned that the status is now refund. I thought I will get my refund within a few days. Later, I sent them email that I haven't get my refund. On 6/09/2011, one of the rep replied that there was a problem with the batch of my refund. Accounting has pushed it through and you will receive it with the next 2 business. Unfortunately, upto now (6/21/2011), I still haven't get my refund. I hope my bank will help me out of this crazy deal.

Sorry, similar problem. Company is now in dissolution...you should be receiving an email and letter via usps detailing next steps. Would recommend dispute charge through your credit card to get quickest refund. Here is the letter I received...

This email/letter is intended to be used a legal document. HD Discounts which owns and operates redtagcellular.com andhddiscounts.net is in the middle of filing a company dissolution, and as result of the dissolution will not be able to complete the order you placed with our company. Now this situation arose from a error with our merchant account that processes our credit cards for us. The account has been put on hold and a reserve was created; Now we do not have access to the system that processes incoming and outgoing transactions. We will demand that they process a full refund for any orders which have not been processed. HD Discounts does not keep a copy or house any credit card information, just the transaction information. We are going request a standard refund for you. And we will also submit a list to our merchant account with your order information. HD Discounts also recommends that you file a dispute with your Credit Card Company or card issuing financial institution to expedite the return of funds that have been place on hold with our merchant account. A full copy of this email/letter will be sent off via the United States Post Service in the form of certified mail over the next few business days, This email/letter can also be printed out to supply proof of the dissolution of HD Discounts to your financial institution if requested.

A full copy of the completed dissolution will follow in the next 5 business days, and you will receive 2 copies, the first via email, the other will also be sent off via the USPS for your records.

HD Discounts will still monitor all incoming emails and respond in a timely matter to any and all questions that may arise from the this email/letter.

Now if for some reason you are not able to receive a standard refund on your credit card, debit card, gift card, ..ect. Some of the reasons maybe expired card, switched accounts...ect. HD Discounts will refund your order in an alternative way, such as check, money order, but will only do so if proof is supplied by your financial institution, and confirmation is received from our merchant account that they were not able to successfully submit and process a refund.

Notice Of Dissolution Of A Business To Debtors And Creditors



Please be advised that the company known as HD Discounts DBA/redtagcellular.com, DBA/hddiscounts.net. Doing business at 21348 Alberta St Oneida, TN 37841 will be dissolved by mutual consent of the partners as of 06/17/2011



1. All claims against the assets of HD Discounts must be made in writing and include the claim amount, basis and origination date.



2. The deadline for submitting claims is 09/17/2011.



3. Any claims that are not received by HD Discounts prior to the date set forth above will not be recognized.



4. Debtors are requested to pay all outstanding obligations no later than 45 days from the date of this notice. Payments should be made to HD Discounts.
