I waited a long time to write this and replayed over & over in my head 'people change and I should just let this go.." Unfortunately I realized people don't change unless your willing to stand up for yourself. In society sometimes we tend to have the people at the top of the totem pole steal from those at the bottom. As a former employee here I warn you if your looking for a job that is 1. Drama Free 2. Organized 3. Pays well This place is not for you. Working as a receptionist I was paid very little to work the hours 1:00 pm to 11:00 for 5 days a week. It wasn't because of my hourly wage but instead because of tax fraud due to the owners being greedy and lying to me that the reason my check was so little because of the money being taken out for taxes; mind you they were taking $200.00-$300.00 out in "taxes". I finally discovered they were paying me off the books and just being greedy with their money that they didn't want to pay me. Apparently they do this quite a few receptionists they had before..hence why they are always replacing receptionists. Now I am happy and working at a new job part time paid weekly I seem to get paid more and nothing over 100 dollars goes towards taxes. How can it be I work part time and get paid more than when I was working full time? *face palm* ugh because my employers took advantage of my young age and discriminated against me. It's important to know the ins & outs of how your employer is paying you for your time and don't be afraid to ask questions. I wasted valuable months being paid less than what I deserve plus what was rightly owed to me and to top it off it wasn't that great of an atmosphere. The stylists always see so many receptionists come & go they don't even bother to say hi, that doesn't mean much to some people but its better to work in an environment that is friendly. It's good for your health and positive energy spreads and brings blessings in your life. |
