Record LTD Elusive Search Results Draper, Internet |
3rd of May, 2011 by User751290 |
On April 14, 2011 I used recordltd.com to do a search. They charged me $1.00 to do the search. When I received the information it was very illusive. Nothing specific. I emailed them back and complained and on April 18, 2011 they reimbursed my credit card for the $1.00. I then proceeded to US Search for better results for $4.95. There is definitely so truth to, "you get what you pay for". However, on April 29, 2011 this company recordltd.com went back into my credit account and took out $18.95. I was very dissatisfied with their one dollar work. They stole money from me indicating that I was still a member and that this fee is automatically charged after seven days no matter what. They lure you in with a one dollar offer with ZERO intentions on provided good customer service, then they steal money from you because you REJECT their awful service. |

Hello there,
I am the head of customer service for RecordLtd. I’d first off like to apologize if you had a poor experience. I would like to clarify that we have a vast number of reports to provide to customers and we help thousands every day.
If for some reason a report was unavailable, although this is rare, it usually means there is some redundant information in the system. However, in order to achieve outstanding customer service which we pride ourselves on, we always offer refunds. An additional service we offer is for the customer to allow a 3 hour extensive search done by a member of our team in order to further investigate results.
Please reach out to me at [email protected], so I can personally handle this issue and ensure a refund. Please be sure to provide your full name and zip code so I can issue your refund with utmost efficiency.
I look forward to hearing from you,
Joanne Berger

I had the same experience. A useless report followed by $18.95 taken later from my account. When I complained all I got was that cancelling the order and getting a refund of a $1 doesn't stop them subsequently charging fees. A company to be avoided at all costs, unless you like your bank account raided.
Interested to see if Joanne Berger actually does refunds for real. |
