Reckinger Heating and Cooling Company Tried to Scam and then threatened me when I confronted them. Deaborn, Michigan

I called this company to have them come out and perform a simple furnace inspection, they did not show up for there first scheduled appointment, and made it out the following day, the "service" man came in, opened my furnace, sprayed about a half of bottle of what he told me was salt water, for a Salt Test, he then told me he was required by law to shut off my furnace that I had carbon monoxide leaks in my heat exchange. I was freaked out, 10mins later the owner (I assume) called me and told me he need 1,250 dollars to fix this (mind you the service man was in my house no longer than 5 mins) I decided to contact another company for second look, seeing as I have carbon monoxide detectors throughout my house and they have never gone off. The second company came in did a very detailed inspection (45mins it took them) they checked via a few test, and found NO leaks at all. Upset I called Reckingers back told them I did not appreciate trying to be scammed, the owner then told me he was going to send a letter to the city I live in, to inform them My furnace needed shut down, if I did not want to pay 1,250 to have it fixed (which it does not need)..futher more even if I did need it fixed, I was told by the second company that it would be no where near that amount to replace heat exchange, they told me 750$ I would not reommend this company, they lied, then tried to blackmail me!! For truly honest and very detailed awesome furnace/cooling company call Born Mechanical Heating and Cooling at 734-775-3094! They actually took there time, and checked anything that could be problimatic!!!
