REAL VAN LINES/BRAVO VAN LINES/OASIS VAN LIES ARE BROKERS, LIARS, CROOKS, SCAMMERS AND THEY ALL NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN.

The first week of December 2010, I was contacted by Nathan from Real Van Lines in regards to a quote for my items to be moved from Tampa, Florida to Portland, Oregon. He quoted me over the phone by an inventory list that I provided. When I asked him if someone would be coming out to review the items he told me, No, it's about the weight and we went over that for each item. Do not worry much about the cubic feet because it is more about the weight. So, I believed that I had found the ideal company to move my stuff.

THIS COMPANY IS FULL OF SCAMMERS AND THEY ARE LIARS. I was told that the quote I was given was binding. I was also told that my items would not be moved from the original truck they were put on because they were not brokers. I was also told that there would not be a price increase, my stuff would take a week and a half (at most) to deliver and that there was no issue with delivering my items to my high rise in downtown Portland.

On the day of pick up the movers, Bravo Van Lines (they were not even from Real Van Lines they were supposedly sent and affiliated) filled the truck up and when there were only a couple of boxes left they stated that they were over the cubic feet and there would be an $800 increase! I immediately told them to take my stuff off and I would have another company do the move. The driver attempted to contact his boss to see if they could lower the price. He never made any move to take my items off. At this point, I was on the phone with another moving company to schedule their arrival. Well, the guy spoke to me again and stated that he was not able to get in touch with his boss and that the price increase would only be $250. I attempted to contact the office of Real Van Lines and Nathan's extension with no response for over an hour. After speaking with the other person that was having their stuff moved with mine we agreed to go ahead with it because we were guaranteed that our items would be in Portland by the time we were. We should have never let them leave with our items

As the last items were being loaded I said, Ok, well, please have a safe drive and we will see you guys in Portland next week. The driver looked baffled and stated that they were not delivering our items to Portland and they would only be going to Atlanta, Georgia. I then began to question this and I was then told that Nathan lied and he knew that my items would be moved to another truck once they arrived in Atlanta, Georgia.

The pick-up date from Tampa, Florida was December 9th and the items were supposed to be in Portland by (the earliest) December 14th. Well, I contacted the company on the 12th and was told that my belongings were still in Atlanta and would not be leaving until the 15th and they were not even sure about that date. The customer service guy, Louie, told me to just try back in a week or two. I then said that I would call every day until I knew when my items were being moved to their destination. I was then told that I would be doing nothing but wasting my time because nothing would change.

I called every day (sometimes two times a day) from the 13th until the 4th of January. During that time, I found out the company had only one sales representative (Nathan), customer service representative (Louie) and one dispatcher (Alex). That was all the company was made up of. After a thorough background search, I found out that there were five claims against this company, the company had changed names three times, the owner (Louie) was not even supposed to be doing business within the state of Georgia and if he was found doing business he was to be deported to Israel. It seemed like I was living a surreal nightmare.

On December 31st, I found out my belongings were on a truck by Oasis Van Lines and were being driven by a man named Anthony. Louie, Alex and Owen (the owner of Oasis Van Lines) assured me that the driver would call me. Well, by the evening of December 31st, I contacted the driver myself and he stated that he would be in town that evening at 8 pm. I then asked him if I should expect him to deliver that evening. The driver, Anthony, then cursed me out for over forty-five minutes. Exerts would include, you fucking b*ch, you think I would deliver to you, TONIGHT, after driving for twelve hours for this sh* company?! Are you out of your f*king mind? Do you think I give a sh* about your stuff getting there? I then asked him to please take a deep breath because I feared that his anger would cause an automobile accident and that it would be fine if he wanted to deliver in the morning. His response, You're damn f*king right I'll deliver in the god damn morning. Do not f*king tell me to take a deep f*king breath. You f*king b*ch, I will get there when ever the hell I feel like getting there. Actually, f*k this. I am going to Washington and I will deliver to them and then I will come back to Oregon and deliver to you, b*ch. I calmly stated that I was over contract, I did nothing to be treated like this and that I would get in touch with his supervisor. He then stated, Yeah, well, I do not give a shit. I will screw you the f*k over and tell them that I cannot deliver to you. So, that means that your a*s needs to get another truck and that will cost you another $500 AND I will make sure to lie to them and tell them that I got a parking ticket so you will owe another $200. So, you BETTER be ready to pay another $700 800 when I get there in a month. Well, after asking him to please calm down because I feared for an automobile accident I contacted his manager. Owen (the manager) did not believe a word I said and stated that he would contact Anthony (the driver). I contacted my brother (who lives in Portland) and told him the story. He then took over speaking to them.

On January 4th, the driver dropped my stuff in a Kmart parking lot. My brother and I loaded it all into a U-Haul truck and delivered it to my home.

In the end this company made us live a real life nightmare. I paid $3000 to be belittled, given the run around, cursed out and have my stuff moved into a parking lot.

Please, I can't say this enough do NOT trust this company. Do NOT accept anything they say as real. I NEVER want to this to happen to another human being. Pay more for a reliable company to move your stuff. Believe me, it is worth it.
