Quibids Quibids.com: scam Company Oklahoma City, Oklahoma |

Each Bid reflected on the screen states $0.01 but it really costs you $ 0.60 for each bid. I was ripped off for $48 and ended up with nothing. I called the first time I realized this, the msg stated it's a 52minute wait. All the people, like myself that realized they've been ripped off also were surely calling. I contacted my bank, they stated I have to contact them and see if they'll reverse the charges. I called the next day, after a 20 min wait. Their reply is it's in the Terms and Conditions - I reread and it's not stated there. You don't get a second button to click, with Approving of Purchase, or even reflecting you are making a purchase, that legal web sites ask for and BAM you're out $48, they call a bundle. Each time you click to bid, the web site reflects a one penny bid but that's Fraud because you are really, in reality, bidding sixty cents -- everytime you click that button, cha ching sixty cents!! I'm out $48.00 and didn't win the bid, have nothing tangible to show and Quibids is plus my $48. Talked to Customer Support and there only explanation is they'll open the bid and you can have it for $1.65 more. I don't need it now.. I went to and purchased the item, an honest web site! Quibids refused to reverse the charge, as any web site would do and basically tell you, Sorry, you're stuck -- but in reality, we just made $48 off of you! I wish I never left Ebay.. Quibids makes you buy bids before you even bid and each click is 0.60 not a 0.01!!! What a Scam, What a Scam.... This web site needs to be shut down and license pulled! I will contact my Visa Debit card and intiate a complaint! But have learned a valuable lesson.... a scamming web site, is a scamming web site and they're everywhere! My only hope is other people read this and will not use their web site and they go out of business! All I got to say is, I didn't even get a kiss first! |
