Quality Financials Refusing to On honor contract signed Phoenix, Arizona |
6th of Oct, 2011 by User667677 |
On 1 Sep 11, I received a phone call from Quality Financials sales person (do not have name). He discussed a home business idea and asked if I was interested. The business idea was to run an internet mall. I was told that it would be a very easy business and that Quality Financials would do the majority of the work. I would only have to check the site and see how things were going. To be a part of this business, I would have to pay an initial fee. They had three different plans to choose from; Silver, Gold, or Platinum. I was interested in what they explained and choose the Gold package. That package cost me $199. With the payment made, the sales rep told me that I would be contacted by an advertising coach, Mike Olsen. Mike Olsen never called me. Someone else from the company called and The reason I don't remember that name is because, another person called. I asked about the coach that was assigned to me and he told me not to worry that he would help. He began asking a lot of questions pertaining to my finances. They questions were very invassive. I did not feel comforatble and told him I wanted to speak with someone else and hung up the phone. I called back the company (spoke with Laura Wesly) and told her that I did not appreciate that way that advertising coach spoke with me. She told me that she would get another coach to call me. The new coach called me within 20-30 minutes. We talk for a while and I felt a little better dealing with him. As spoke a little longer, he started asking me how much I wanted to spend for advertising. I told him that I did not want to spend any money for advertising. He told me that he would not be able to help and would have Mr. Herman Andrews call me. Mr. Herman Adrews worked in the free advertising department. Mr. Andrews called and we spoke about the different options to free advertising. He gave me many different options for free advertising. We didn't move any further at that moment. The reason we didn't move forward was the site they created for me was not 100% ready. There were still issues that I found with the site that I pointed out to be fixed. I began looking into advertising options on my own. I found that I could use google to advertise. I spoke with Mr. Andrews again about the site not be 100%. I told him the issues and asked them to fix so I could begin pushing my site. On 15 Sep 11, he told me to check out a site that someone had created but did not use. The site was 100% ready. He told me that they would let me have that site since I was dissatisfied with the orginal created. He told me that he would call me on 19 Oct 11 when the site was ready. On 19 Sep 11, he called but the site still was not ready. We began again speaking about advertising. I told him that I would use google to advertise my site. I also told him that I would pay google for the advertising. He quickly told me that they have different plans for advertising. The lowest level for advertising (something that wasn't told to me orginally) was $300. That would include a choise of custom domain name, they would direct 3000 visitors to the site, and Upgrade to Google Ad cents. He asked what name I would like to choose. I told him to use "MaribelsOnlineMall" as the domain name. He did not like it and came back with "MaribelsBigDiscounts". I was okay with this at first but Mr. Andrews said let's not commit to this name right away. He would call me after I signed the advertising contract to see if I could remember the name. He wanted to make sure that the name had memory appeal. I signed the contract that same night. Within that contract, it stipulated that any refund my be claimed within three days of that date signed. I never received a call back from Mr. Andrews to finalize the name. I called on the 20th and 21st to Quality Financials to speak with Mr. Andrews to check if the site was finalized. I also wanted to soeak about the name. My wife did not like that name. I wanted to make sure they did not finalize the site with a name my wife did not like. The two times I called, I left two messages with Laura Wesly for Mr. Andrews to call me back. I told her that this pertained to my site. Mr. Andrews never returned my calls. I finally received a call on 22 Sep 11 from Laura Wesly telling me that the site was finalized. I asked her how the site could be finalized when I never finalized it. I explained what Mr. Andrews told me and she told me that is all she was told. At that point I was fed up with the poor customer service and told her that I wanted to cancel everything. She told me that she would report this to the cancellation department. I asked her the phone number so I could explain everything to them directly but was told I could not have the phone number. The very next day I sent a letter to Quality Financials telling them that I wanted my refund for the initial fee and the money spend on advertising. I do not know if they ever received the letter. I called daily to speak with someone at the cancellation department but was always told someone would contact me. It took close too two weeks before anyone ever contacted me. Robert Gibson called me on 6 Oct 11. He told me that my advertising fee would not be returned due to the fact that began advertising my site. I asked how could they advertise a site that was not ready to begin with. I began explaining that the poor customer service is why I wanted to cancel everything. This company had no problems taking my money but never seemed to follow through with their promises. They refuse to return my money no matter how much they failed to meet their contractual obligations.
