Puregreen International LLC - deceptive and uncooperative - DO NOT BUY their Vapor Clean machines - Petersburg, Virginia |

I purchased a VaporMax steam cleaner from myvaporclean.com ... one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made. Luckily, I bought through Paypal, have opened a dispute, and will escalate my claim very quickly. I paid $269, and received a manufacturer-damaged unit - there was a large perforation in the boiler. I sent very clear, high-resolution photos to the sales department, and asked for a replacement. The woman I emailed said the photo was too large and that she couldn't see anything wrong, but said at least they would know what to look for when I shipped the machine. After sending more photos and information at her request, they shipped me another machine once they had received the defective VaporMax. This machine was heavily used, with sediment build-up in the tank, scuffs and scratches all over the machine, a yellow stain in the attachment compartment (possible rust) and very obvious signs of usage on the power button. I called, extremely upset with them for sending a heavily used/refurbished machine when I had paid full retail for a new unit. This is part of the email I was sent after a girl from customer service told me she would talk with her manager and get back to me with "detailed instructions". 1) You are correct about your machine not being the original that you first ordered. Once we received your machine back, we had to take apart the entire machine to get to the boiler and examine the crack in it. We found that in fact, it wasn't a crack. Instead it was a weld mark from the production of piecing the top and bottom halves of the boiler together - normal. However, to cut down on "down time," we decided to replace your machine instead of attempting to piece back together and repair your original machine. 2) Please know that your physical machine is not used. We simply took it out of another box, tested it and shipped it out to you. We have not carried this particular unit long enough to even have a returned/used machine. The machine you have now is basically brand new, other than the test that we made on it. They lied to me on both accounts - a "weld mark" does not have jagged and irregular edges. I have photographic evidence of the perforation. It is very clear that the second machine they sent me is used. I also have photographic evidence of the marks, grime, and scratches all over the machine, which cannot be explained by the one test they performed on it in the warehouse. The first unit was new, although defective, with no signs of wear. I did not use either machine, and am extraordinarily disgusted with how they are handling the situation. I will never buy from Puregreen International LLC ever again, and will do everything in my power to inform their other potential victims. Avoid this company at all costs! I've found elsewhere that they also do not fulfill their lifetime warranties... |

I recently purchased a vapormax steamer and after receiving and trying the unit discovered that it is very poorly made. The parts did not fit together well and the unit blew apart during my trial use and I sustained steam burns on my face and hand. When I attempted to contact the company and ask only that they refund my money ($249.00) and pay for the return shipping, I was totally SHOCKED at how I was treated and what was told to me.
I was told that they knew the item was poor quality and they siad it was because it was made in China unlike their more expensive units that come from Italy. When I asked why they sold it if they knew it was inferior I was told because the consumers demand cheaper products. I was told I would have to email "returns" myself. I did and when no one responded after more than 24 hours I called again. I was again treated rudely by the "customer service" person and then received an email from returns refusing to pay the return shipping and telling me that depending on what quality they find the unit to be in when they receive it back from me, will be when they determine how much of my refund I would receive; and that they videotape opening all returns to prove their decisions. I was also told that I must have sustained burns because "I clearly didn't put the product together properly" - even though there are no instructions with the unti on how to attach or use the attachments.
I have filed complaints related to this. As a consumer my advice to other consumers is BEWARE OF THIS MERCHANT. I have since found other complaints about the company that I wish I had seem before ordering from them. |

does anyone have contact information for the president of Pure Green International LLC? I am getting the "runaround" with a very expenseive unit. During the first use, the back wheel fell off becasue it was never properly affixed. After calling and emailing the service department finally responds and tells me to ship. I follow the instructions exactly... shipped Fedex ground, insurance, my return address and marking my name with "REPAIR" on the box. I find out that there service department refused to accept the shipment so now it's being returned to me. When I asked, they claim that there was no information on the box. This company lacks integrity. I want to write to the president and CEO. Does anyone have that info? I can't seem to find it on the web. |
