Prosperity Learning LLC refuse to honor the refund policy stated in contract. On March 1, 2011 I signed a contract for Prosperity Learning services. On March 2, 2011 I called and emailed them with my request to cancel their services within the three day timeframe for contract cancellation and refund. Prosperity claimed that they never received either request. Subsequent calls to Prosperity yielded no refund or official acknowledgment of my request to cancel service. I was unable to reach a live person on subsequent contacts where I would leave voicemails. Return calls were not from customer service but from coaches who were only interested in their lesson plans and not hearing my cancellation request. On March 2, 2011 Josh O @ Prosperity sent me a bogus letter thanking me for reconsidering my cancelation of their service; asking for and hoping that I would sign it. I never signed it, stated or implied that I had reconsidered my cancellation request. I contacted my credit card issuer to lodge a charge dispute for Prosperity Learning, after it became apparent that they were not going to honor the policy stated in the contract. Prosperity Learning misled the credit card issuer about both the cancelation request and subsequent communications with them and to this day has been allowed to stay in a position to retain monies that they are not entitled to and have not earned from honest or fair trade practices. The contract cancellation request was valid and timely, of that there can be no dispute. Their response to that request however, makes this firm beyond disreputable. This IS NOT BBB Accredited Business and their website doesnt show a physical or mailing address; which should've been a clear warning. My advice; you must be very cautious when dealing with Prosperity Learning LLC. |
