If you're straight out of college and looking for a job.. KEEP LOOKING! Scam alert. What you will want to know: Strictly commission, pyramid scheme, MLM, no benefits. Propel Management will not do anything but waste your time and energy. This is a multi-level marketing scam. They promise advancement, this is not the case. If it were, why is there only one Propel Management? Ha.. I will tell you, cuz they are liars. Nathan Webb and Jamie Traylor Webb are scam artists. They came from Texas working w/ a regional consultent, Rachel O'Hara and they opened an office last year. Nathan is a complete liar. He treats us, the leadership core that makes him so much money, like dirt. He's so close minded. He's unbelievably unprofesional. He's a liar. He doesn't make near the amount of money that he says that he does. THE GIST OF THE JOB: I worked with Nathan for a few months so I know how this thing works. Prepare to be going door to door in the heat selling coupons. I have met other managers with this company and I have networked with a few of them and I know there is potential for advancement, but not with Nathan. Unless you listen to really crappy electric beats and can tolerate Nathan's terrible sense of humor, you won't make it very far. Nathan has favorites. It's no wonder his two promotions were his "concert buddies" that are just as big of tools as Nathan is. Nate says that hard work and student mentality are the keys to success, but this is not a fact. I "rang bell" (covered $100 in profit) almost every day and didn't get anything for it. He's greedy, to put it lightly. DURING THE INTERVIEW: It will be short and sweet. You'll notice that there are no details of pay or what we REALLY do. That's because they don't want you to know that you'll be going door to door. You'll be working STRICTLY commission, no benefits, etc. I successfully averaged about $500 a week, but I also had a sales background. Most of the office made $200 or less a week, although Nate wants you to think that the "average" is $600 a week. lol. This is NOT the case. No compensation for gas, food, etc. PLUS, you will be required to pay the people you train. Another way that Nate steals from you. We, the leaders used to call Nate greedy all the time. I just know that people shut down their office all the time. I have some people I network with in other offices, and I now know the truth. When I initially quit working for Propel, it was for personal reasons. But I later found out that Propel is not at ALL what they imply on an interview, what I was taught to say to the job shadows that came out for the job, etc. I always thought Nate was a greedy tool, but he was fun to work for sometimes, lol. But now that I've talked with other account managers and leaders that quit, I know that Nate lied to all of us to get us to stick around. It's a pyramid scheme. I guess that's what we signed up for. The bottom people do the work while Nathan and Jamie get all the money. I just don't want anyone else to make the same mistakes that I did. |
