| I sign a personal training contract with this company at Gold's Gym and the gym itself fired three of my trainers within 6 months without notifying me. On top of that the trainers that I had apparently had destroyed all of the status reports and progress notes as well as my training plans as they each got fired. The second trainer I had convinced me to sign an additional contract because he said my other contract was expiring. I found out this was untrue months later when BF Southeast LLC, the company that makes the contracts for Gold's Gym sent me a letter in the mail stating I had not paid them. When I called them the person on their customer service line informed me that I should have read the back of my original contract and then insinuated that I was stupid for taking a manager's word that my original contract had expired. They told me I would be turned into a collection agency if I did not pay. In the mean time they had still not contacted me about 31 training sessions that I was still owed after firing my last trainer. It seems they are only willing to hold people to the customer's side of the contract whether they are willing to fulfill their part or not. So after paying them $450 it is two months later and no one at the Gold's Gym nor BF Southeast LLC has contacted me about these training sessions I am owed. Now when I call BF Southeast LLC's customer service line I get an answering machine that tells me to leave a message and they never call me back. I have written letters to both companies and never gotten a single response. It is my experience that you should never sign anything with Gold's Gym of BF Southeast LLC's name on it. They will trick you, lie to you, and then have your signature on a piece of paper holding you to policies that you can't prove they lied to you about. BF Southeast LLC has an F rating from the Better Business Bureau and for good reason. It is amazing to me there isn't a class action lawsuit against them already. This company should be ashamed of themselves to practice business the way they do. When I did get customer service on the phone I was told that I was not allowed to speak to their managers nor have their manager's name. It seems like their policy for customer complaints is to simply ignore them and field questions to minimum wage employees that can do nothing but quote rhetoric about contracts back at you. Never do business with BF Southeast LLC or any gym that does business with them including ant Gold's Gym in North Carolina. In fact, if you Google search BF Southeast LLC the first 5 results are all about how they rip people off. |

| I can vouch 100% on this deceitful organization. They sent people from another state to drum up business at our local gym. The "trainer" I worked with dumped me as soon as I signed on the dotted line and transferred me to some "idiot" who sounded like he was stoned every time I spoke with him.. This fool cancelled appointments left and right due to "the stomach flu" and "car problems." I am sooooo angry with "Terry" from North Carolina, who REALLY did a once over on me. I got a doctor's note stating that I am not allowed to use their services and when I called today, I was told that if I didn't put my "membership number" on my correspondence, they wouldn't be able to track me. Hello!!! What "membership number"??? It is some arbitrary ten digit "code" that only they have access to!!! I wish I knew how to file a class action suit. This company is conniving and takes advantage of people all the way. I don't know how their employees look at themselves in the mirror every day - or maybe they don't. Times are tough, jobs-wise, but you have to lower yourself down pretty low to work for these creeps. |
