I hired Pro-Steam to clean dryer ducts in four rentals. A couple of days later, a woman named Heather came by and picked up the check, advising me they had cleaned all four ducts. Two days later, I ran into one of my tenants, and was “stunned” to learn that Pro-Steam had not cleaned their duct. My tenant had waited most of the afternoon for them; in fact, my tenants had waited on at least two occasions while Pro-Steam was cleaning dryer ducts throughout our complex. Upon calling Pro-Steam, I was first told that they had cleaned the duct; that my tenant was wrong. (Why would my tenant want the nuisance of having the duct cleaned twice? Also, I paid extra for that unit because the dryer had to be removed; so obviously they didn’t clean it.) We ended up rescheduling the cleaning again. This time, my tenant adjusted a dinner date to accommodate Pro-Steam’s schedule. No show again. They obviously have “caller ID,” because now they won’t take my calls. Pro-Steam in Palm Desert (Jeremy Young, Manager @ 760.346.1697) is unorganized, and dishonest. They should not be allowed to enter your home or business.
