Prize Search Network Headquarters Letter promising me $167,900.00, with $13.00 processing fee. Las Vegas, Nevada
5th of Nov, 2010 by User587238
I received a letter, very official looking, telling me that I have won $167,900.00, and all I have to do is pay the taxes (ha, ha), and send them $13.00 in processing fees, or $16.00, if I want express processing.

Now, I am a disabled widow, with very little money and a few debts I would love to pay before I leave this earth. I would even love to leave a few dollars for my one child and one grandchild. However, this type of scam not only gets me excited about possibilities. I am sure it affects many others in this current economic climate, especially here in South Carolina, where jobs are scrarce and hopes are dying.

If these people could be stopped from doing this to anyone, there are a lot of us who would appreciate it. I would love to have a money. Then I could replace my 1995 automobile and maybe even move into an assisted living home, instead of living with my daughter, who wants to care for me, but has health problems of her own.

I am so glad I found this site, something told me if its to good to to true it usually is, sure enough word for word the exact amount of $167, 900.00 with a processing fee of $13.00 and for rush service and extra $3.00, which would total $16.00. It amazes me how they find some of us extremely vulnerable people who are in great need of monies and gee would that kind of money really solve alot of problems. With the economy the way it is, jobs rare to none or don't pay what they should do to cut backs, fixed incomes, and list just goes on falling for these scams are very easy to do. I have to admitt on more than one occasion out of mere desperation I have fallen for several. However as a result, I have had identity theft, lost legitimate personal bank acounts, and just so many headaches that continue to follow me. and yet to no avail these headquarters, award centers, and notification departments. Then there is letters and checks from the UK, Nigeria, and gosh so many other states and countries that continue to try and find a way to flourish on the vulnerability and unfortunate positions that one may be in, I do speak of my experiences only but from what I have been finding out in my research I am by far not alone.. Is there no end, is there a way to control these opportunits. It makes you start to question if there are any real legitimate sweepstakes, prizes, or contest. I have never been much of a gambler, don't like to toy with luck. I like to go with more of a sure thing. But as they old saying goes" you never know". I have even tried the Publisher Clearing House thinking this is a well known "household" name must be completely legit. However not onetime do you play or do and entry online that doesn't lead you to one of their sponsors and you must fill out a buch of personal information in reference to life insure, auto insurance, and so on.Makes youquestion does this incraese your chances to win? Everytime you enter ro play you must purchase something eventhough they say the contrary. Even to get $25 or $100 gift card to Walmart or Target has anyone ever really gotten one, Can not imagine. Nothing is simple but it should not be impossible. Who regulates this, how are they really protecting the consumer. We have to have a voice the frustration level is getting very high. Times are not getting any better any time soon. When do we the consumer actually get a break or at least get something with intergreity and honesty no more run-arounds. When will the system finally start working for us not just the corporations. Some of us in the community are really struggling to feed our families. Not everyone drives a luxury car or a fancy condo, infact some are lucky to have the basic neccesities as it is stated in Maslow's hierachy of needs: food, shelter, clothing. I write this not with the sole purpose of a complaint but more a concern. How many people need to post a comment or per say a complaint before affirmative action can be taken for the people. Just like a child. Think of your own. When you make a promise as a parent it is your personal commitment to do your best and do everything you can to fufill that promise. For the rewars is to see the joy and smile that your promise/committment ca has brought. With that being said, when it comes to these life changing sweepstakes, rewards, and contests, it is like dealing with children. However making false hopes and promise. There are no rewards on anyones side infact there is nothing but broken, promises, hopes, and dreams. That is alot to take into consideration when you are playing with peoples emotions. This as you see it is just a game, and it may very well be. The flip side of this "game" are people building hopes and dreams for family and a better life that can no other way be obtained, but by this little bit of hope. Just a little something to think about when you are dealing with an actuat human being and the after effects and results that maybe you do not even take into consideration. Hopeful someone out there will read what I have commented and hopefully agree or relate and may have gone through some of the same never-ending unneccessary type of situations do to fraudulent so called winnings with bad results and unfortunate reprocutions. For one you are not alone and pleaae speak out, the more that speak out that have been victimized and preyed upon and targeted by these vulturs just maybe, maybe the word will get out and they can be stopped and people will stop falling for their SCAMS the more they do fall they more they win. The more we speak out and let them know we have caught on to them BAM they are out of bussiness and we are no longer victums.
