Shawn Reid of Presto web maker is a scam. they lie and steal from you. He hacked into my account even though my registration expired and i wrote i no longer wanted to do business with him. he hacked in and took 100.00 for 2 years registration of my company name. i told him, i did not want i did not want to do business with him. but even though it expired, he took my money, without a word. then told me off, like i'm some idiot. well, i feel like an idiot for ever getting involved with presto web maker, they don't make anything, they don't help you, they don't do a thing, IN fact, it is Wild West domain that is the domain makers, Presto is the middle man, but Presto sells themselves on "they are a do it all company" and they are not. they do nothing but treat you like crap. they are located in N. Maui Hawaii. I am Shawn Reid, the owenr of PrestoWebMaker.com.
I have never recieved 1 single penny directly from this person!
What my site does, is simply provide an "AFFILIATE" link to Wild West Domains registration service.
I am in the "Domain Name Reseller" program with Wild West Domains.
THEY process the order, not me, there fore it is impossible for me to "Hack and/or Steal" anything for this person!
When orders are placed with Wild West domains, every few months a get a very small commision check from THEM, i never recieve ANY monies directly from any customer nor do I have any access to their account and/or credit card information or any other financial informration.
This person, when she bought the domain name obviousl did not read the agreement and obviously did not understand what checking the box upon check-out that says, allow Auto-Renew which when the domain is set to expire, THEY [ wild west domains ] based on the agreement and authorization by HER to automatically charge her credit card to auto renew the services she bought from THEM.
I have absolutlty nothing to do with her problem, all I do is provide a link on my site to Wild West Domains, that is it!!
She refuses to read any agreements or instructions I have tried to give her and them has blamed me for not helping her...
She has posted this on Rip-Off report as well and is slandering me an my companies reputation on a global level!
I have tried to explain how this all works to her in 3 emails and she just does not get it!
Thats HER problem, not mine!! But to slander me and my company like this is just not right.
I have given her chances to either take these lies down on both sites, but she refuses to do so.
I am now forced to contact my attorney in the next few days to begin legal actions against her for this global slander.
Just because she does not like me for not meeting her expectations of what she felt I owe her in the form of support, because she refuses to read simple online and very extensive help section, does not mean or give her the right to slander me and my company and well as hurt innocent people like the S-Turns Surf Club, who has nothing to do with any of this!
