www.prestigeautographs.com Take their time to ship stock they have in store, and by doing so allows them to print the Posters and arrange Fake Signatures of your order!. Their posters are re-prints from low-end sources and not originals as they describe on their site. All posters have no visible signs of being handled by multiple stars, cast and crew of the movie poster from Signing Events or Red Carpets. Each poster is printed from a low-resolution source image at full Poster Size on the same paper stock and single sided - these posters are not original, and there is no way that these signed posters can be authentically signed by members of the movie poster without having some visible defect from handling. Do not purchase signed posters from this store - you will be completely Ripped Off! I'm in the process of obtaining thousands of dollars refunded which is part of their printed 'Certificate of Authenticity' stating: "If at any time this item is proven to be anything other than as represented, we shall issue an immediate replacement or refund of the complete purchase price which shall be the purchaser's sole remedy of claim" - I'll update if they honour their own 'Certificate of Authenticity'. |

Anybody that purchases posters from a store that does not show the signatures is stupid. Their excuse for not showing the signatures is hilarious. They do not show pictures, so they can sign the poster you just bought and ship it to you.
And by the way, this is the same company as in www.neautographs.com, a well known scam artist. |

This is Joe Ranoia, owner and operator of prestigeautographs.com. I am responding to remarks made by Mr. Ray Bannermann over posters he ordered from our company.
He contends that we do not show signatures for our items because we forge them instead. This is false and libelous. As stated at our FAQs on our website, AND OF WHICH POLICY MR. BANNERMAN WAS FULLY AWARE PRIOR TO HIS PURCHASES, the reason for our policy of not showing the signatures in advance is that when we used to do that, people copied them and sold them as copies, stealing our product and information and profiting for themselves.
We deal only in originals. Most signatures are gotten at movie premieres and signing events. All are accompanied by lifetime Certificates of Authenticity.
My business is run on an honorable and good-faith basis. Mr. Bannermann has never presented evidence of any kind to show that either item he bought is anything but genuine, and if we had any doubts ourselves as to any item, we wouldn't sell it. But Prestige has agreed to reimburse him his purchase price regardless because he has requested it and that is part of our good-fatih policy.
As of this writing, his items have not been yet been received back. When they are and they are in as good a condition as he received them, he will get his refund.
Very truly yours,
Joe Ranoia |

Anybody can do a quick search on Google and realize the multiple complaints against prestigeautographs.com . Still the excuse for not showing the photos is not good enough. When you buy an autographed poster from a company that poster is supposed to be unique.
In the case of prestigeautographs, you will quickly realize that once you buy a poster, the poster is still in stock. You can buy the same poster over and over again. Why? because a new one is printed and signed for you on the spot.
I really doubt Joe Ranoia is even the real name of the owner. In all probability it's an alias. Plus, what is the reason to register a domain name through proxy, so nobody can really see who's really behind a corporation?
This is not how a legit company operates. |

It seems this guy has been scamming people since his days on ebay, back in 2002:
"11/10/02 WARNING!!! [email protected] Seller ID on Ebay, is selling blatant fakes. UACC says he is NOT a member as he claims. His name is Joe or Joseph Ranoia from Nottingham, PA. I also saw on other sites others who got ripped off by him. He's got private feedback, private bidders etc. Don't bid on someone whose feedback or auctions are private. What would be the reason to have private feedback? There is none. If you bid, retract your bid before it's too late. I have reported him to Ebay."

I am Raymond Bannerman.
I've recently received an email from Mr Joe Ranoia's Attorney at Law Mike Pincher from The Law Office of Mike Pincher, 38530 159th Street East, Palmdale, CA 93591-2906. Mr Pincher claims that my, quote, "words are obviously libelous and defamatory toward Mr. Ranoia and his business and it is demanded that you withdraw your offensive statements forthwith or further legal action will be taken". Prior to this email from Mr Pincher I had stated in an earlier email to Mr Ranoia that I'd return the items once I had the current credit that is owed to me refunded (from an incorrect cost calculation for the bulk of the posters). To this date I haven't had the credit refunded to my form of payment nor have I had any further correspondence from Mr Ranoia. As this is a personal comment on this site, I believe my words to be that of a true record as personal advice to people who may be wanting to buy from Prestige Autographs - they can do so at their own will. If I could re-tract my statements in order to remove any further legal action I would so this is settled privately, unfortunately I cannot. I wish all concerned the very best and I caution any people trading with Prestige Autographs as this is my opinion.
Sincerely
Raymond Bannerman |

Dear Raymond, do not worry about the lawyer letter. This is Mr Ranoia himself impersonating a lawyer. As you can see in this link this is yet another piece of evidence that links him to neautograph.com:
http://live.autographmagazine.com/group/authenticationandforgeryalert/forum/topics/neautographcom-forgeries?commentId=3524372%3AComment%3A38570&xg_source=activity&groupId=3524372%3AGroup%3A6080
This is what he does, he's probably been reported to the authorities many times, and I am appalled they have not done anything yet.
What I advice you to do is to call your credit card company and initiate a charge-back. You will get your money that way.
I hope this helps to put your mind at easy about the so called "lawyer threats". |
