Complaint Description:
I called during a sleepless night last night to purchase a weightloss product, afterwards they forwarded me to a salesperson for PGS, he represented the company to me as Preferred Guest Resorts and www.bestvacationsever.com. I was tired and wanted to think it over. She promptly put a supervisor on the phone. He not only promised me the orlando/daytona trip but 3 other trips so I could not turn it down. I still didn't feel oomfortable but I was so tired I just wanted for him to let me off the phone. The primary reason I was interested was my husband's birthday is 2/26 and we were going to go out of town anyway and for $298 for 5 trips, at 4 star hotels that he kept stressing I reluctantly agreed. I told my husband tonight and we pulled up the website. It did not look like what I was promised. I was told there were 80 cities to chose from. I inquired about atlantic city NJ imparticularly and I was told YES that was one of the many destinations. As shown on the website there are just a handful. I called the ph # given for some explanation, I took down the name, Terrance Jordan, producer#11227. When I called they had no idea who that was. They said he may be at a different extension or #. I asked if he cannot be tracked down by the producer # and he said no that doesn't help. I am very upset because I was flat out lied to about the hotels, they are not 4 star as i was told repeatedly, tonight I was told they are all 3 star. Also, my husband kind of laughed at me when we read on the website that you have to bring a credit card and listen to a 90 min sales pitch at each destination!!!! I am so upset!! Now I have 300 tied up in this scam and I found several vacations with reputable companies that include a RENTAL CAR and i can actually look at the hotel. The fellow tonight said, no, you cannot see the hotel they will book. I am so furious, and the worst part is the representative i spoke to this evening really could care less about what happened to me. I feel like my money was stolen from me because I purchased a product under false pretenses-- total false pretenses. Then when I asked Mr Manager, Terrance Jordan if I change my mind and want a refund he assured me that BBB has them rated at A+ and that "100% customer satisfaction is guaranteed" I asked again, so I can get a refund if I change my mind, he repeated the same quote that 100% satisfaction is guaranteed. Well I am not satisfied and I was told the hours are M-F 24/hrs and Sat 9am - noon so I will have no problem making any changes or reservations. I want to stress that the one vacation on my mind was taking my husband out of town for a long weekend over 2/26... when I called you have to give 14 days advance and they cant even promise that. You must give 30-45days notice to set up a vacation. I am furious because I would have never purchased it if I could not use it immediately and ABSOLUTELY NOT if I knew it was a sales pitch for a time share. I want a refund ASAP, I think that is only fair. This product was totally missrepresented. And reading the complaints it doesn't seem I am the only one!!

Your Desired Resolution:
I expect full refund. I am disabled as of 7/2011 so I do not have much money to spare. I figured I would spend at least 300 on one vacation and with this deal I would get 5! I should have known better that if it sounds too good to be true it usually is. I seriously hope that the company will be able to credit back my account quickly.. my husband has had a lot on him with my diagnosis and getting his new business off the ground. I think an immediate refund would suffice. But somehow i do not see that happening. If I do not get the $300 back in time to schedule a REAL trip for my husband and I like I was so promised (and with 80 destinations HA!!) I believe they should be punished. This is the only time he can take off so they have ruined our whole well needed vacation. My disability has been hard on our marraige so has starting up his new business.. we really needed this time. I feel like a fool. They should be punished. I would feel if I do not get an overnite check in time to book a valid vacation they should be punished for damages due to the lies I was told and lack of caring on the companies part to fix the problem, or helping me find the person that originally promissed me the scam. Punitive damages of $150 on top of the $300 I think is too reasonable. If this drags out for days that amount should be doubled. As an insurance agent I could not just tell clients anything I wanted just to sell the product!! I would be fined and probably fired. The company should be "fined" due to a supervisor taking over the call because i was asking many questions and he even gave me his producer number which to the fellow I rang this evening said that doesn't give him a clue who that is. What a SCAM!!! They need to be stopped!!!!

I purchased an Orlando trip through livingsocial. I call the company (bestvacationsever) to find out how I can book my vacation. I was told I must make the reservation before the expiration date on the voucher so I don’t lose the deal but I CAN book up to six months after the expiration date. So I set a tentative date and just call later once I decide on a date. When I called 1 month later, I was told that my deal had expired and they only extended me courtesy by allowing me to book pass that. The agent didn’t’ tell me this during our first call. I was upset. Then I was told me I have to pay an additional $50 date change fee. Even though their website stated you need at least 7 days, with no mention of a policy for promotional deals. The agents are inexperience and rude. This will be posted on every site that reviews this company.

I really do feel for you guys it seems nobody can be trusted anymore but don, t despair lets get together and shut these bastards down i have just sent ;BVE; an email telling them there are a lot of unhappy people out there because of them and i will move heaven and earth to get there company shut down i am still waiting for a reply can, t imagine i will get one but i promise it is the first of many many emails they will recieve from me untill i get what i was told i going to get
