POS Transactions |
did not order these products |

This company had someone call us to inform us that we had a parcel waiting to be shipped to us. The first time they called, they spoke to an employee who told them that the only people that were authorized to release this order were either myself (manager) or the owner. She (our employee) gave her the names of the two people and offered to transfer to one of us, the person on the phone said she would call back.
They called a day later and talked to another employee, who has only been with us for a very short period of time, and told him that she was calling to inform him that there was a shipment waiting to be released. He (our employee) informed her that he didn't know what she was talking about. She assured him that it was a regular stocking order of ours and that she was just informing him about it. He told her that was fine and they ended the conversation. Now, understand, that in our business, we receive several shipments every day so it would not be overly unusual to have a regular stocking order sent to us. We have never had a shipment from this company, nor have we ever ordered from them. When this order showed up, I called the company to complain and was informed that if we didn't pay for it they would take us to court. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude and refused to let me speak to her supervisor at all, even though I asked more than 3 times. When we checked online, we cannot find any information about this company to suggest that it is even legitimate. I sent them an official fax to inform them that we are refusing their product and giving them a time limit to have it picked up. |

I'm also dealing with this same scam! I received my order in October and eventually gave up. It wasn't until i received the name Christina Miller and threatened to put her name in a police report that I've received a phone call from Tina.
She assured me that my employee was not mislead. Even though, like you, I received a call a week earlier and told them not to call back. After telling me that my employee knowingly accepted and placed the order i asked her if i could hear the recording (for quality assurances, i'm sure). Tina would then inform me that she hadn't personally heard the recording.
I've fought this fight far beyond my salary dictates. I told her to take it to court and i'm confident that POS transactions will be found guilty of fraudulent business practices. Whoever made this post, i'm interested in contacting you. Please re-post, i'd like to see someone fall for this, as my staff member feels terrible, and she's a sweetheart! |

Well someone can contact me my employee was also duped into believing this was a regular shipment. He was told that we regularly or yearly get supplies from them and that we had sent them a cheque last year for same items and this was a routine standing order, which is complete nonsense i have never used anyone but staples for my pos machine thermal paper. my email is [email protected] can we say class action suit together.

They did it to me as well. Called our Spa and spoke to a receptionist stating they had our pre-order and needed to confirm shipping details. Our receptionist sated she does not do orders and they should speak to the Manager. They didn't want to do that and again stated an order had already been made and they just needed her to confirm shipping address. They got her name and then claim she made the order. Standard Office Supply Scam. I called them up and called them out. Customer Service lady wouldn't let me speak yet accused me of talking over top of her and if we couldn't discuss this like adults she would hang up. Hiliarious, very scripted. I never let them get away with this. I told them on the phone and by fax that they had 30 days to come pick up the shipment before it would be destroyed and I wouldn't pay for it or a restocking fee or return shipping. They will never send to a collection agency as the collection agencies won't touch them with a 10 foot pole as they know they are scammers. If they don't pick up the shipment I'll throw it out (as I can't use it anyway, god at least send me something I can use) and they can call me about payment until the cows come home. I'll call them out and call them scammers for EVER! Bring it ON!!! |

Well Well Well, seems POS Transactions has themselves a little trouble, they have been charged with fraud by the competition Bureau and the RCMP under a few different namnes but i have been told by the competition Bureau that they are one in the same as Mega Byte Information Inc, Express Transaction Services Inc, International Business Logistics Inc, and Comexco Management Inc, So any information regarding these scammers POS Transactions should be forwarded to The Competion Bureau of Canada a law enforcement agency, I didnt even knoiw existed at 1-800-348-5358. There is plenty about these other company names do a simple google seach for fraud and one of the names and CTV or competition Bureau and happy reading, so basically tell these pieces of crap come get ur crap or you will be forwarding everything to the Competition Bureau, there is no way these idiots could ever send you or your company/business to collections because they are a fraud company so no worry there. I am calling them back today and gonna dare them to send me to collections. Funny i guess they dont knoiw what abreviation is for POS piece of shit lol...Dont ignore this do something about it get these basturds the more proof the better the case for the competition Bureau and other law enforcement agencies. Lets put these idiots out of business. Competition bureau fax number is 1-819-997-0324 |

This is a common office supply scam. All they do is call a business until they get a name (claiming various things such as: and order has already been made and need to confirm shipping address, pre-order ready to go can we ship it now etc.
Once they get that name they use it to try to fool you into thinking that this person actually made an order. If you call the "Customer Service" who is well versed in what I call "aggressive response" won't let you speak, repeats the same thing over and over, accuses you of being a child/aggressor etc..
Totally laughable, PEOPLE...don't pay these people a penny, they will never take you to court or send to a collection agencies cause they are scammers. It would be like a bank robber calling the police to report that the clerk refused to hand over enough money. Call them out, don't be afraid. |

I am dealing with same issue with POS Transactions. I've basically told them to come and get their stuff, but they claim I need to send it back on my dime! NO WAY that's gonna happen. I have requested copies of the 'taped' phone calls they supposedly made to my staff, I've also dared them to take me to collections ... so far not much has happened. I'm glad one of my other employees found the fruadulent piece to all of this ... I'll call em on it next time they call! thanks for all the posts and info on how to deal with this so called company. |

I am also dealing with this now. Tina keeps calling me and today she finally produced the recording where they spoke to my employee. Wow, what a joke! It was so edited that it sounded rediculous. They clearly took my emplyee's "yes" and "ok" comments and spliced them in to make it sound like she agreed to all the pricing and other details. When I called Tina out on it being fake, she still claimed it was impossible, that they couldn't edit it as it was digital. Seriously? In 2012, anything can be editied. The sad part is it was such a horrible edit job. I know my employee well and how she speaks to people on the phone and this was not her mannerism at all. I told her I was not dealing with this anymore and the only phone call I would accept from her would be the one where she gives me her courier number to take their stuff back. She told me I would be hearing from their legal department.
I also filed a complaint with the Competition Bureau and received a letter back saying this scam has been investigated and certain companies are in court currently on the matter so hopefully if enough people come forward and keep reporting it, they'll get stopped. |

Same story here too. I asked to hear the recording of us agreeing to the shipment, she said "Who said anything about recordings?" Whenever I called her out of something, she said, I will note your account. I asked to speak to her supervisor, she said "No". Will do as other have, and send a fax refusing shipment with a cutoff date for them to pick up, and file with the Competition Bureau...glad I found these websites... |

An update: I called randomly a couple times and told them very calmly that I would NOT be paying their bill ever, have reported them, and they might as well save the money on the stamps (2 statements sent per week), just last week I got a letter this week saying how they believe in great customer service and are therefore crediting my account for the full balance. |
