| Case#2011-048523 On May 26 2011 my husband ,dog and I were involved in a traffic accident with an Alicia Walton from winter haven . I was on my way to Dundee Fl ( lk Hatchineha rd) to visit my grandparents . as I turned down lk hatchineha road I made a complete stop to wait fro traffic to pass as my grandmother lives on the left side of the road ...NO ONE WAS COMING when I went to turn into my grandmothers drive way Alicia Walton rammed into my car totalling it and severly injuring my husband I was knocked unconscience , Alicia Wlaton and her passenger were shaken but not hurt...I was rushed to winter haven hospital along with Alicia Walton she had no serious injuries , her passenger went to the hospital also with no injuries , my husband was air lifted to Lakeland Regional Hospital with severe injuries . There were many police on the scene from the sheriffs office except for OFFICER LAURA ROBERTSON who never came to the hospital or the scene of the accident , at the hospital while I was being drugged by winter haven hospital staff a uniformed officer (male) came into the room without identifying himself he threatened me when I asked him where was my husband and dog, he said if I didnt asnswer all his questions he would arrest me , he asked me why I was coming to winter haven , what time i went to bed , why and where I worked , he asked what time I left Tampa and he said my husband was dying in the hospital in Tampa , the male officer was tape recording the conversation and he left when hospital staff came in OFFICER LAURA ROBERTSON never questioned me in the hospital never contacted my husband never asked the other party what happened ....she never wrote a police report until one month later after I called the sheriffs office to get a copy of the information to give a lawyer she wrote me a ticket for illegal left turn and no insurance , she wrote my husband a ticket fir nit wearing a seat belt even though his injuries were due to him wearing a seat belt and the seat belt caused his injuries this officer wrote an accident report without even investigating the cars or the scene the sheriffs ofice intimidated me and threatened me into answering questions about the accident that had noithing to do with the accident POLK COUNTY SHERIFFS OFFICE is corrupt and violated many color of law violations to insure this woman ALICIA WALTON did not get implicated in the accident . I called the sheriffs office to get information on the male officer who questioned me about the accident ,instead officer Robertson was put on the line and told me it was protocol to do these types of things .In the hospital the sheriffs officer refused to give his name or let me get any info as to why he would ask me random questions instead of asking about the accident this officer LAURA ROBERTSON not only wrote me a ticket based on nothing but she blatantly wrote my husband a ticket for no seatbelt even though he was wearing one at the time if she would have been at the scene or asked the paramedics she would have known . NEVER GO TO POLK COUNTY STAY AWAY FROM THIS CORRUPT PLACE THE SHERIFF MR JUDD SPENDS A LOT OF TIME BRAGGING ABOUT FIGHTING CRIME BUT NOT ENOUGH TIME FIXING THE CORRUPTION IN HIS OWN OFFICE . I have lost my car , my livlihood and my well being because of this accident all while the corrupt police are stil out there . I am writing this because I was told this is how police act in this county when they feek ine if their own have been messed with and this lady Alicia Walton is a school teacher or city worker they all know and apparently they wanted to make sure she would not get into trouble or have to take responsibilty for almost killing my husband , dog and myself ....... |
