Pepper Cash is a fraudulent company. They sign you up for a loan after just an inquiry when you did not even ask for their loan then they take a bunch of money out of your account without you knowing then when you call and ask to hear the tape they claim they have where you asked for the loan all of a sudden the tape is lost. They lie lie lie they cannot even speak english and are very rude. They took 1,000 out of my account for a $300 loan that I did not even ask for to begin with. |

How did you stop them from taking the money out? I got a $300 dollar in April and they are STILL taking money out. I counted it up on my bank statments and right now its at $1030 that have taken. I email them and they just want MORE money...
I am so confused right now. This is ridiculous. I asked for a copy of the terms that they say "I signed" but I would have NEVER agreed to that. $1030??? And they said that I could "pay off the loan for $600??" I just need to know what to do to make them stop... |

I I received $400.00 from Pepper Cash that I did not even know I had received or asked for. They provided the $400 and then charged me finance fees from April until October 2011 (I was stupid for not noticing!). I called them and said I never agreed to a loan from them, but they said they had a signed agreement. A customer service rep said that she could stop the finance fees if I paid a reduced balance of $175. I said absolutely not and asked to speak with a manager, who said that I did not have to pay any more money and that my loan was now taken care of. I then asked for the signed agreement to be e-mailed to me and an e-mail verifying my loan was cleared. After 5 times calling and asking for the electronic agreement and them saying they would e-mail it, they have yet to provide me with anything. I told them to e-mail it to my work and private e-mail and every time I have not received 1 e-mail. I warned them Friday 10/13/11 that if I did not receive an agreement from them, then I will be expecting reimbursement for all of my financing fees. I started researching on line what recourse we have against a Payday loan institution when they have/suspected of committing a violation. In Michigan, the Payday loan company, if found guilty, would have to pay back up to 5 times more than finance fee if the Payday loan company admits they were wrong. I live in Ohio so I am trying to find our laws concerning the company and if it applies to a company not located in this state (I think they are located in Costa Rica). Please check back to this site in a few days as to I will keep you updated. |
