Pep Boys Buy 3 tires, get one free is completely misleading! Parsippany, New Jersey

In Feb 2010 I was shopping for new tires for my wife's car. The pep boy's price for Hankook tires was a little higher then other places, however they were running a Buy 3 get one free special. My wife and I went to the Parsippany pep boys to get the tires. When we got in we were informed we would have to get the additional computer balancing, road, hazard tire on the new tires for an additional 25.00 per tire. We agreed and they began the work. 2 hours later we were told the car was ready and given a $575 bill. I was in shock, they told us AFTER the fact that we had to pay for the 4th tire up front and wait for a rebate check (and the fine print did say that). I reluctantly paid my bill and immediately submitted the mail in rebate. The mail in rebate took about 3 months to process, but instead of a rebate check, I was sent a debit card. I opened the envelope, peeked in and placed it in my drawer to save for Christmas shopping. What a shock I got on November 1st that the card had already expired!!! I called Pep boys and they told me to call the bank for a new card, the bank told me they cannot issue new cards, and pep boys requires this not them. I'm still waiting for a reply after complaining to pep boys. Looks like I am out the $89.00 value of the card and tire....this is so misleading. Anyone else have an issue of short expiration dates on these cards? Is there a class action suit building? Please let me know
