Beware of PCS = aka Public Credit Services
They Call constantly and want me to pay a $400 loan they said I took out around March 2011. I told them that was impossible. Now I will admit that a did a few payday loans about a year and half or two ago while unemployed but thought I had taken care of all of them. They say I owe Cash Advance this money but if I pay it in 30 days they will take $300. They sent this authorization form for me to fill in my debit card info.
As you will notice there is no letterhead, which is required of any legitimate company, and the name is obiviously bogus. The people I talk to sound very middle eastern. Legitimate companies should provide proof of debt. HOnestly, I don't think I made this debt. Oh yes, when you call the telephone number back it says something to the effect the number you have called is currently unavailable, please leave a message. Doesn't sound like a legitimate collection agency to me.
