I also heard the ad on the radio for this course and thought that I would like to check it out. After my phone conversation I thought that a meeting would be good. I arrived for the meeting to find there were several soon to become suckers there. I was first asked to take a tech. test which I thought was funny because it had no relevancy to the course at all. I was told that I did very well, Which isnt true because I purposely bombed the test to see what the reaction would be. I am lucky if I got 2 answers correct. I guess Mandy told me I got like 85%. Whatever. That wasnt a red flag for me. I continued on. maybe it was her pretty face. Maybe it was something they put in the water. YES. She still got me to sign up. Surprisingly they have a bank that will put up the money for this fraud place. That in of itself blows my mind, that Sallie mae wouldnt check Pc pros track record and pull out on giving loans. The cost of the loan is close to 27,000.00 and the interest is insane. You will leave the school with a few certs from Microsoft, ( that you can get on your own for a quarter of the cost or much less actually) You will also get little or no hands on training as they claim you will get in the meeting. You will be told that there are jobs demanding your aquired skills even in the down economy. You will be told with this school in 3 years you will be a network admin making in upwars of 65,000.00 p/y The scary thing is the carreer help they offer. It is 2 people that send you links to craigslist ads that you could do on your own. I am sunk into them for 29,000.00 now with no job as of yet a year after grad. the payment per month is $387.00 and good luck trying to file bankruptcy on a private student loan. Or they call it a carreer training advancement loan. DO not I repeat DO NOT take this program. You will pay big for no real outcome. |
