Tony- Sarah Margaret's Furniture, Garden City SC We set up with Payment Systems in December 2010. The rep was Brandy Bell-Truskey. She set up our account on the premise that she was going to save us over $200 per month but that included the $132 lease on the machine from Global. She promised us 1% for credit card processing rates, and at the end of the $17k month, it was a total of over 5%. They continued for the next year to draft money out of our account that was unauthorized some times up to 700 a week. Ultimately, we decided to cancel with Payment Systems to go with AppStar Financial. Our rep informed us of the real costs we were being charged. We decided to change our bank account to have all of the new company pulling and depositing into the new account. Today we called them to cancel the service. After holding 35 minutes, the operator actually laughed at me when I said I wasn't going to pay them. I sent the machine and pin pad back to them. But they can't charge me the $7,982 they want to for cancelling my lease because I have already changed my account. Do NOT work with this company. They are a bunch of liers and theives and I can attest to that.

Hello,
I wish I read this a month ago, I just signed with Payment System and the sales Rep never mentioned anything about a 48 months lease for the equipment, which I don't even use. He referred to the charges as "monthly equipment fees". I even asked explicitly about the cancelation fees, he only mentioned a $299 fee, never, mentioned anything about the Lease termination fees, he obviously made an effort to omit any mention of a Lease.
I now received a nice welcome package from First Data for a surprised 48 month commitment at $599 a month, that's $28, 800 for leasing equipment, I don't even need.
I will make sure to take them to court, if anything, to stop for scamming other businesses. |
