Pay O Matic / Excella PrePaid debit Card Refuse to give back Tax funds. Flushing , New York |
25th of Apr, 2011 by User424516 |
My daughter had an Excella Prepaid debit card, she was given a account number from the pay o matic employee, she wanted to put her tax refund on her card. to make a long story short she was given the wrong account number and the person to that wrong account number used up the funds. 8,000.00 Pay O Matic as well as Excella refuse to take blame, refuse to investigate. and most important refuse to give my daughter back her funds. its been months and we have been sending out letters to different places for help to no avail. everyone keeps saying hire an attorney. I say what for she would have to give them all her tax money if they were to get it for her. so I am writing today in hopes that someone with knowledge cares to help my daughter get what is hers. Thank You in Advance |

As an employee of Pay-O-Matic with direct responsibility for the Excella Card product I would like to go on record as saying that this customer's issue has been resolved.
Once Pay-O-Matic was able to gather all of the relevant information and research the claim the customer was contacted and the issue resolved. |

Excella is a rip off. am in the process of filing a lawsuit. How can you closed someones account without a valid reason? And on top of that realizing that you are wrong telling me in order to get my account reopen I got to show proof of every reciept of every time I put money on my card. |

if you visit my website prepaidlegal.com/hub/charielrivera you can get a membership that gives you access to a lawyer 24 hours a day 7 days a week all across the U.S and Canada. They basically cover you on everything like identity theft they write letters and do phone calls on your behalf they defend you on moving traffic violation and even set up your Will. all this for an amazing 35.99 a month. I had the same problem with excella but i signed up for my membership and i had my lawyes send them a letter and give them a call and in less than 2 weeks i had $2550.00 deposited right back into my account. That is power!!! Now i not only have a membership for this company i am also an associate. Again anyone interested should go to prepaidlegal.com/hub/charielrivera and sign up for the membership. if there are any questions you can find my personal number on the webpage that i provided. |

Til this day still unresolved, I am being told that the person at the payomatic has to refund my money from his pocket. How unprofessional is that.
Well for all you excella card holders, think twice and check your receipts before walking out. Once you leave and your transaction does not match your receipts it's lost money.
Neither one will resolve your issue. They give you the run around, bounce you like a ping pong.
Beware of these crooks in Excella.
Disappointed and furious..
P.S. I still want my money back! |

Honestly that sounds like a situation that Channel 11's "Help Me Howard" would be able to try & resolve* Were u able to test out the lawyer services the 3rd comment on this postvthat @Chariel posted? Sounds like it worth a try as well, I've personally had my money with-held from me twice by Excella 10days ech both times, informing me tht I shouold get a fax from the merchant themselves 2 release my money, mind u the money automaticlly gets releasd by the merchant but in any event in the future, havng a bank acct will b the much more sufficient choice as Excella has provd that their restrictions & stipulations doesnt make their company desirable they nus create more frustratd & angry customers tht inturn will create more lawsuits possibly a class action suit, in time. So Excella keep up the bad work and soon u will recieve wat is indebted unto you*
