| Came across an advert on the Trade-it free ads for a tv, could only contact the guy via email. His emails seemed pleasant and we were happy to pay him half the money for a lcd tv which he promised to courier to us. We paid for half the tv, and were then going to pay for the other half when it arrived. It never arrived! I have all his details; address, bank numbers, phone. Having done some research into this guy I have found a Paul Woonton of Manilla Crescent, Weston who was done for GBH in May 2011 and now who has conned me out of money living at another address in Weston, August 2011. We have phoned his father at Yate Engineering, to no avail. |

Hi ANTC323 please phone either your local police, (please give them Niall Craig's information below) or contact Avon and Somerset police directly, or email. I can assure you that I am incontact with the police and they need as much information as possible to bring a good case against him in court. Please keep all of your emails as evidence against him, I have already passed on all of mine. Paul Woonton is currently under arrest in Lithunia, and will be arrested on his return to the UK as the police are VERY interested in him. We just need to band together in order to bring him to justice. If you need any help from me then let me know and I can give you my details. The police will definitely be interested in all you have to say about him.

If you go to your local police please give them the details of Niall Craig as they will need to contact him. Please keep all of your emails as evidence.

Ive just filed an online complaint to Avon police too about Paul woonton. I feel so stupid that I trusted him but I paid him 205 pounds for a phone I guess I Sony be getting advertised on loot. He never rePlied after numerous emails were sent asking for a tracking number. Ihe gave me his bank details as

Anyone had Any luck with tracking this guy? I stupidly paid him via bank transfer for a samsung galaxy s2 advertised on loot.com. Got nice polite emails thanking me for fast payment etc then no replies when asking for my tracking number. His email address he used for me was [email protected]
I've reported him to avon and somerset Police. I found out through some investigating that the account details he gave me belong to some cashplus account which I've never heard of. Something to do with mastercard. They were very unhelpful and even got kind of defensive. Looks like I won't be seeing my money. Feel so stupid that I did this as deep down i did have slight doubts but then just trusted him like an idiot. I'm so angry at him ! If anyone learns of anything please let me know. | Hi, I have just two days ago been scamed by this paul wooton!!! I paid £230 into a santander account for a samsung s2 in the london loot paper. I'm going to contact the police localy and then the sumerset branch. He's using the name paul michael wooton, the email he used was [email protected] and [email protected]. I am so mad at myself for being conned and so want this guy caught!!! He was going to post the phone to me but after payment he stopped contact. I gave him my name and address to post to and now I'm praying he dosnt steal my identity!! |

I was about to send money to a Paul Woonton for a TV but decided to google first. Thank god i did! He has different address and bank details from before. Shall I send these to the police?

| Hi everyone, Paul Woonton is advertising again! Trade It Bristol 42" Lcd tv. BEWARE!! I have phoned the police again with new information. PLEASE contact North Somerset police if you have any information as he's back conning more people out of money. He's possibly still abroad and not in this country as he says. PC 1149 Niall Craig is the guy investigating Paul Woonton, you need to send any information to him as Paul Woonton will not be brought to justice as the police in different counties do not seem to pass on information. |

Met him last night at a bar, luckily nothing happened but my friends and I googled his email address this morning to find his name, solely hoping to be able to add our "new friend" on Facebook, and we came across this information. It seems he has been hanging around the area near Przekaski Zakaski. Hopefully this helps anyone looking for him. |

| I first met Paul Woonton in Australia when I was on a year out travelling around world in September 2005. I met him in Wake Up youth hostel in Sydney and had some really fun times with him, and trusted him completely. He really looked after me as I was only 19 at the time and he was really genuine (or so it seemed to me). I spent quite a bit of time with him and thought I knew him pretty well. He told me he was a junior doctor and I believed him... why wouldn't I?! I kept in contact with him for years after but hadn't heard from him in since 2008 but I knew he was somewhere in Europe, working as a doctor as far as I knew. Then, about 2 weeks ago, I received an email via Facebook from him saying he had, had all of his credit cards, money, passport, plane tickets, etc, stolen. He said all he had was his laptop and clothes. He wanted to transfer money from his UK account to my account and then for me to transfer it to Western Union in Warsaw. I, of course, didn't give any bank details to him... he continued to give me a sob story of how the British Embassy wouldn't/couldn't help him. I felt bad for him as he'd been so nice when I knew him all those years earlier, but thankfully I trusted my instincts. The next day, a work colleague suggested I Google him. I didn't believe anything would come up - HOW WRONG COULD I BE!! I was devastated. Someone I shared some amazing times with turned out to be a crook, a thief, a liar. And he'd tried to use the trust he'd gained from all those years earlier for monetary gain. I'm totally disgusted with him. I don't know how he can live with himself. I thought of him as a friend - but now I know from some internet research that he clearly has none of them. No matter how many people he rips off, without true friends he will always be the poorest man in the world. |

30 january 2014. He have contacts in Cracov. He is on the black list of all hostels in Warsaw. He is telling to everyone he have a sister. The truth is : he have 2 younger brothers (16 and 18). His mother is a drunkard. They all live in UK. Now he changed his name on Pavel Wontrova. All his family turned against him. He don't have nothing even a jacket. And rly he is "the poorest man in the world." It seems he don't want help from anyone. He know he have a mental problems but he don't want to solve it. |

| Hi. He is still active after all these years, just can't help himself. Generally, if you are buying from Gumtree, Loot, etc don't ever pay with bank transfer. (After all Paul is not the only scammer around.) |
