Gwaz was arrested on a fugitive warrant in Forsyth County, June 21, 2009 and extradited to Broward County Florida for Grand Theft Auto where trial is scheduled for April 18, 2011 in the circuit court of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit, Broward County Florida. Gwaz was arrested on April 26, 2010 and convicted June 9, 2010, in Forsyth County for second degree trespass and larceny. On December 17, 2009, The North Carolina Real Estate Commission revoked the broker license of Paul R. Gwaz aka Gwazdauskas finding that Mr. Gwaz falsely represented the arrangements and details of a real estate investment scheme to investor-clients; failed to maintain investor-client funds in a trust account as required by Commission rules and converted funds received from investor-clients to his own use; failed to provide information and records requested by a representative of the Commission; and incompletely prepared a lease-option agreement on a form not intended for that purpose using ambiguous terms and conditions. Gwaz used the Central Carolina Real Estate Investment Club, New Build Land Trust, Palmar, and other businesses in his questionable business dealings to bilk numerous people out of money in real estate deals. The Temporary Order ordered Paul Gwaz, aka Paul Gwazdauskas , to immediately cease and desist from offering for sale, soliciting offers to purchase or selling, in or from North Carolina, interests in New Build Land Trust or any security of any issuer, unless and until such securities have been registered pursuant to the provisions of the North Carolina Securities Act and from offering for sale, soliciting offers to purchase, or selling, in or from North Carolina, securities of Learn Waterhouse, Inc. or any security of any issuer, unless and until he becomes registered as a dealer or salesman of securities pursuant to the North Carolina Securities Act. http://www.secretary.state.nc.us/sec/actions.aspx On May 7, 2008 , the Securities Division of the North Carolina Department of the Secretary of State issued a Final Order to Cease and Desist to Paul Gwaz, aka Paul Gwazdauskas . Mr. Gwaz failed to object to the imposition of the Final Order or seek any hearing in this matter.
