Steve is a ripoff, a liar and a thief.
For many years, I have had a very successful free Haunted event at my house. It attracted hundreds of neighborhood children every year. It kept kids off the street, cut neighborhood vandalism to nothing, and gots lots of media attention worldwide. One unexpected thing that happened as a result of doing Haunted Houses every year was from the kids that attended. Despite my living and having this event in a bad neighborhood, I saw that the hundreds of kids that came over were really sweet kids. I could see and hear what doing my little event every year meant to these kids. Many of these kids would cry and confide in me that they had no food in their house and the huge amounts of candy and treats I gave them were all they had to eat. No wonder these kids would turn to selling drugs, and joining gangs. Gangs would probably be the only family they would have that could put food on the table. I started wishing that somehow I could win the lottery, and then I could give them all the food they needed. Not only could I feed them, I would be able to buy expensive, animated props and really give them a real thrill. But, realistically, winning the lottery would never happen, and I would just have to be content with doing an event that I can barely afford, living on a small fixed income. The donations I got from area businesses helped a lot, as I got a lot of candy every year, but got very little in donations... donations that could have helped purchased better props and improved the quality of my event every year.
Now enters a man named Steve Allred, a partner of Tinson Antiques, here in West Palm Beach, Fla. He convinced me that he was genuinely concerned about my Haunted House and the lack of money that I had to put on a spectacular event. His plan was to do a second money raising event, then I could buy animated props, and do more to help neighborhood kids. He convinced me to give him large sums of money to start a Haunted House business. A business that would help me continue to do a free event every year... free for kids.
I found out later that Steve was just conning me, and didn't put one penny into the business. He just stuck the money in his pocket. All along, I was listening to all his ideas, and stories, but his body language was saying that he was a liar, and I was the biggest fool. I wouldn't have fallen for his scam... my head said no, but my heart said yes. My heart (to helping the neighborhood) won the battle, and I paid for it dearly.
In closing, Steve you are a liar, a thief and a con man. I hope the money you ripped me off with will provide you with the good accomodations that you f*ing deserve... in hell! You're just like all the other rotten people in our neighborhood, a self-centered egotistical S.O.B.
Don't bother with any more of your stories that you thought I believed. Just return my money. |

Joe, you are delusional, what large sums of money???? You came to me, you said your haunted house was costing you money you didn't have. Your neighbors complained about the eyesore. I offered to help you put on an event with a whole group of businesses. You never completed one thing. Where were the window displays??? The only one you did was set up with halogen lights and flammable webs, the owner of house tore them down. What happened to going downtown to sell tickets, never happened. You were to decorate the street, never happened. Then what about the ball? You were to have 60 dancers doing the thriller dance, you lied about all the rehearsals, they never even met with you. What about the haunted dance area? 7 broken plastic tombstones and 4 hanging decorations????? Where were the hundreds of decorations you promised? Dozens of people donated items for props, not one was used.
Now about the money you claim to have spent, you only paid partially on items you destroyed, plenty of witnesses saw you carelessly damage or destroy dozens of items. Some have still not been reimbursed. If you want to continue this I will gladly let you deal with settling up with them.
Tell the truth Joe, you paid for damages you caused by taking money from your home equity, when your common law wife found out, you created this whole scam story. The balance you owe is substantial. The people you took advantage of, many. I was one of the last people that would even have anything to do with you. What about all the people you ripped off claiming to be a master electrician, all of them had to redo the work. Even the city paid you thousands, you don't and never had a licence.
Now what about the email you sent saying you were quitting the haunted house? I called you and you said you had to come up with something because Cathy found out you had taken some money from your home equity?
Tell the whole truth Joe, you caused tens of thousands of dollars in damages, I never charged you for our items, you only paid for some of clients pieces. I got you jobs all over the city, it is not my fault you lost them.
You could have resolved this by talking to me, instead you just smile and wave, if you really think you are the victim let's compare balance sheets face to face. |

These accusations about me are so untrue that I am not even going to bother responding. Just return my fucking money. |

PS:
Also, regarding the above, look up pissing contest.
I'm not going to fall for that old game.
Urban Dictionary: pissing contest
1. An argument where each participant is merely attempting to out-do the other one, not for the sake of the truth coming out, but simply to win.
2. Two or more parties simply attempting to out-do one another, not for the sake of truly believing in their cause, but just to win in order to gain some kind of power, honour, or reward of some kind.
Amen! |
