Upon signing up with Outrank, I was promised I was not in any form of contract, and certainly did NOT sign one. I was also promised that Outrank.com would build my company a new website in order to appear higher up on certain search engines. They guaranteed my site would be done within 2weeks, and would be built off of my business profile. I also made it unbelievable clear that I would only sign up with Outrank.com if they would link my online store to the front
page of the Outrank site. I own a candle store, Jemini Candle Company, were we sell handmade environmentally candles and soap.
Outrank built a website for our company advertising freshly pressed flowers at a gift shop in CO. We do NOT
and never have sold flowers! They created a website that was misleading with false information about our company. I emailed and called my ’account manager’ over 10times within a week, and he never responded. Eventually I sent an email to cancel services and be removed from Google search engines, still no response. The next day I received
a generic email from my NEW ‘account manager’ that started off by reading “Thanks for choosing Outrank,†and ended with “I’m looking forward to working with you.†It was obvious at this point that Outrank was a scam; they
pass off your account to keep you from cancelling. I replied back to the new generic email, and told him to cancel my account and take me off Google. He did
not cancel my account; he gave me the run around, and then completely ignored me. After consistently sending
cancellation emails and calling, the ‘new account mangers’ manager called me and announced he was now my account manager. He told me he would fix my site within 24hrs and not charge me for an extra month, but insisted if I cancel then I would be charged $100 for not giving a 30day notice. I told him to make the corrections, not to charge me another month, and to cancel my account. He agreed, and confirmed he would follow up with me within 24hrs. Outrank went ahead and charged me another month. At this point there is no excuse for their
unprofessional, misleading, dishonest, company.
I called my account manager, no answer, no surprise. I then called the 1-877-332-4321 number. I explained who I was trying to get a hold of and why, he put me on hold for 5mins, then comes back and says that my account manager is out and will give me a call back Monday morning. I demanded to speak to the manager on shift. That manager again did not cancel my account. I am still dealing with Outrank, they refuse to cancel my account and keep charging my account. I have been requesting to cancel my account for over 3weeks. I recommend that you stay far away from Outrank.com. They will give you a great sales pitch at first, then ruin your company’s reputation, and steal money. |
