Orange State Door Control Inc Reckless driver with road rage behind the wheel of company van !!!! Internet |

On 11/18/2010 a driver for one of your company vans put me and my family at risk by exhibiting road rage. We were driving west on Bears Ave at around 4:22. I noticed the van as we approached the intersection of Bears and N. Boulevard. The van got extremely close to the back of my SUV, in which my two daughters where ridding, a 1 and a 3year old. I saw him thru the rear view mirror, he was raising his hands and motioning me to move or hurry. We all had to stop at the red light on the intersection mentioned above. When the light changed to green the guy in the van wanted everyone out of his way, I had a smaller car in front of me, I pointed towards the car in front of me. He flipped me the finger. What did he want me to do???? Fly???? (I wonder if he even saw the stickers I have in my vehicle of our family and the one that says caution baby on board. If he did he bluntly ignored them?) After he harassed me and passed me, he continued his behavior with the other vehicles in front. Everyone was going the speed limit (45mph), traffic was building up, but your driver continued to think that cars were going to move out of his way, there was nowhere for him or other cars to go, this is how we all got to see how your driver behaved and this is how I managed to see the phone number and the company name of Orange State Door Control , Inc. on the van. At this point I called the number on the side of the van, a lady answered, I wanted her to call him and tell him right then that he was being watched by many, and that someone had called his company. I don't know if she called him or not, I was pretty shaken up and nervous, because he continued to exhibit road rage the way to the intersection of Dale Mabry and Beers Ave, but like I said, we were all in between other cars so there was nothing that I could have done. This guy did not care that he was driving your company vehicle at all. That is a long distance to drive pissed off at the world and putting a lot of innocent people at risk. That is when on the red light at Zambito Road and Bears I took several pictures, but only three came out ok. At this point the guy is using both hands to flip the finger; I got double fingers, very professional behavior as described in your website. This guy is trouble, I got to tell you the thought of slamming my brakes crossed my mind a couple of times, but I got children so that is not an option. But beware, maybe the next set of cars that he decides to harass one will get pissed off enough to slam the breaks, and who knows maybe a multi car crash caused by your reckless driver? Is your company in a good financial position to be dealing with law suits and throw all the hard work and the hard earned reputation down the drain? Not only is he an aggressive driver, but he don't mind people seeing him in your company van driving recklessly and flipping fingers as he drives, I was flabbergasted to see someone that is driving a company van act that way. With the economy and the scarcity of jobs one would think that someone like your driver would try to safeguard his employment. I was not the only one that saw his little spectacle, but the cars around me saw his flipping of the fingers as well. All while reading the big sign on the van that says Orange State Door Control, Inc. Wow. This kind of "professionalism" that you describe on your website is it just with clients or does it extend to the public???? Obviously not, this guy is great bad publicity for your company. I really don't have to share this part with you, but I take safe driving very seriously. A few years ago a friend of mine lost her child due to a reckless driver, a lot of people were touched by this child that now had died in vain, I believe that a driver who has road rage has no respect for life, especially for children in a vehicle; to me this is a form of child abuse. Everyone that was involved in this child's life is now an advocate for children in vehicles, including myself. I will share this story with all my my friends in differnt ways, email, websites such as ripoffreport.com and many other sites. Is having this guy in your team worth the publicity stunt he decided to give to your company? Too many innocent children die to irresponsible drivers like him. I can't just sit there and not do anything after my friends' child died in a similar fashion. I'm not letting anyone try to run my vehicle while I have small children in my car. Ask me why I drive a huge SUV???? For safety and protection from irresponsible drivers. Did your employee miss the news about the triplets that got hurt a few weeks ago? Remind him that one died how he would feel if it was someone else doing this to his family. Bottom line, it only takes a micro second to kill innocent people specially while driving a huge vehicle such as your company van. Parent's ant the general public needs to know and be aware that he is around town exhibiting road while driving his Orange State Door Control, inc. van. People must be careful. He should be easy to spot as he drives an Orange State Door Control, Inc. Company van. Why you don't share with him these headlines, maybe the guy will think twice the next time, or maybe next time it will be too late to act. Is just a matter of time before this guy causes an accident mark my words... |
