Opt-in Marketing
Opt-in Marketing Double Opt-in Marketing Beware Of Emailing Results, Robots Most likely Used Allentown, Pennsylvania
3rd of Nov, 2010 by User526914
First I want to remind you to file a complaint with the BBB. This company is listed with the Washington DC/PA Office under the name of IPS. Secondly file your complaint with the FTC. This agency will distribute your complaint to law enforcement agencies in their area to investigate and prosecute. Third, file a complaint with the District Attorney's office/Police Department in Allentown,PA. Be sure to print all of your documentation (click reports, IP Address origination reports, number of humans you talked to, number of sales you had, phone numbers of people calling you regarding your email blast). There are obvious indicators of Robots being used that can be determined by the law enforcement agencies. That's why your documentation is important. This company has an elaborate set-up to scam the public. First the website does not have the company's actual name on it so if you try to research based on information on their site, you will not find them. They keep changing their name. The alias' are: Opt-in marketing, double opt-in marketing, IPS. Secondly the company goes through an elaborate process to make it look like they are sending out emails on your behalf. In reality they are more than likely using a robot to hit your website. Which means a real human is not viewing your promotion only a computer. So if you check your stats it will show an increase in hits to your site but you will not experience any human traffic or additional business from your promotion. I have to give it to John Lucas and Scott Haire, they have created a pretty good scam. When you start complaining to John here is what he will tell you.
a. We've been in business for 13 years and the only complaint is from a competitor. (not according to this site or the BBB)
b. I check my end and everything looks good the email went out like they supposed to. (not according to your results, meaning human response not just clicks to your site) When you check your report. All of your emails clicks will come every hour 24 hours per day and they will all originate from the same location. (this is important documentation, print this and present to the law enforcement agencies) Don't get mad just document, document, document.
