I signed up 9/26/11 for the Online Trade Training after someone on Craigs List told me she was making $500.00 per week. It was also endorsed by CNN, MSNBC, FOX NEWS, and others, so I felt I could trust it. After I signed for the supposedly one time fee of $97.00, I was not aware that there was a button that was checked which charged me $105.00 which I would never have authorized. After all of that, I was taken thru several steps which connected me to someone else who talked me into joining their advanced education level for marketing, assuring me I could make a lot of money. They said it would cost $500.00 down and $197.00 per month to have individual one on one training. I authorized that and then someone else called me telling me I would not get one on one training and I would get one phone call per month for which I was paying $500.00 plus $197.00. I said no, cancel all of this! These folks were nice: Joel Timothy Downing and Colby Seal. They told me to call the original people I had talked to and who charged me $97.00 and $105.00 and ask for a refund. I did ask for a refund immediately when I saw the extra $105.00 showed up as debit on my bank account. I talked with Shawn (Sean) at the following phone # 888-450-0278 on 9/28/11 and explained all of this to him and asked for a refund. He said I would get it within 24 - 72 hours. It has been over a week and I have talked to him several times and today on October 5th, he says I have to sign onto my website 20 consecutive days to be able to cancel. I talked to Joel Downing several times today also and he called them and called me and said there is nothing he can do as the company hires him and others to do this outside marketing. So, as it stands, I am a week with $202.00 of my money tied up and they are telling me another 20 days of signing onto my site before I cancel and ask for a refund! And then when I do that, I feel they will tell me I can't get a refund as I used the services. Can anyone out there help me. I am going through a great financial crisis and need every penny I have. I feel I have been ripped off big time and I have told them that. Joe Downing refunded my $500.00 promptly but this part is out of his hands although it's the same company. I asked this Shawn to speak to a supervisor but he said he could not give me a phone # for a supervisor. The News Stations should not endorse scam companies and should check them out before doing so. I need my money back. This is not a good business. After I heard some of it, I find, you constantly have to go online and read manuals and the how to do's and pay for more and more stuff. You are basically buying stuff yourself and getting friends to buy is the way I see it and they are getting a commission; you may get a little, but you have to invest a lot upfront and more and more investing. I am going to try to turn this over to every online fraud and scam department I can find.
