omnitech support scam don't do it! Los Angles, California
15th of Jun, 2011 by User228089
I used Omni Tech Support and they took me for 79.99. I first called in on June 10, 2011 where I was to receive 15 minutes free. It took that long to find out that I had to be transfered to another tech#4 Jared. After about an hour he ran the same program I used, maleware bytes only to find there were no infections. He removed the program and reinstalled it which I had done prior. After about an hour he asked if the problem was resolved and I replied "it seems so for now" Three days later I had the same trouble and called and was connected to tech #6 Robert. All he did as I watched carefully was to run maleware bytes again and it came up with no infections found although he said he removed some corrupted files that had a virus. When I asked which files they were and what virus he did not give me any answer but tried to sell me a protection plan for 299.00. I responded I did not have this kind of money and he still pitched that I should buy into the program. When I declined the section was ended. A survey screen came up where I really let them know how I felt and I wouldn't recommend this to a friend. After reading reviews on the computer I had realized I had been taken, should have investigated first! What a scam! Do not use their service. I will call them tomorrow and try to get my money refunded, what a scam. What they did I could have done myself. Years ago I was an IT manager for a company so I had realized just what had happened. I was taken so beware, this is not a republe company.

This customer claimed that we were unable to fully perform the
promised services for which he said he had paid. We are committed to providing great service at a very low cost to our customers. We want our customers to be satisfied. Unfortunately, in this instance, we do not have any record whatsoever of this person as an OmniTech Support customer. We have had no customers with the name “Buddy”. We ask that this customer contact us and provide us with the name and email address with which he logged in. We can then, quickly process his refund, if, indeed, he was a customer to begin with.

We have encountered instances where competing companies who cannot match our pricing or performance have posted bogus Rip-Off complaints which we were easily able to disprove.

We want our customers to be 100% satisfied and that’s why we
have earned and maintained an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau.
